Terry Crews’ Daughter Calls Out Actor for “Creepy” Advances at 16
Terry Crews’ daughter, Azriél Patricia Crews, is opening up about a troubling experience she faced with a well-known actor when she was just a teenager. Taking to Instagram on Friday, January 23, the 35-year-old actress shared a two-part video detailing how she was targeted by a “creepy actor” during a star-studded wedding.
Azriél explained that she was first introduced to the individual by her parents during a pre-wedding gathering. Because her parents already knew him, her mother introduced her specifically as her 16-year-old daughter. My mom introduced me to him as her 16-year-old, so he was very well aware of my age and he was friendly at first and I was a fan of his work so I was actually really excited to meet him. At first, Azriél recalled.
However, the mood shifted significantly during the wedding ceremony itself. Despite there being no assigned seating, the actor chose to sit directly next to her. We arrived at the ceremony and we found some seats which were unassigned but then, as if on cue, creepy actor slides into the seat next to me and he says, ‘Funny meeting you here,’ she said. She noted that this felt like a major red flag, as he had clearly made a deliberate choice to be near her.
The discomfort followed her to the reception, where she was seated at a table with her parents. To her surprise, the actor appeared again, having somehow secured the seat right next to hers. Suddenly I feel a hand caress the back of my arm and so I turn to him and he’s smiling at me creepily and he says, ‘Are you enjoying yourself?’ Azriél detailed.
When she politely replied with a simple “yes,” the actor’s behavior escalated further. He goes, ‘Well, don’t act too civilized,’ she remembered. It was at that moment she realized his knee was pressing against hers under the table, prompting her to immediately tell her mother she needed to leave for the restroom to escape the situation.
