Mick Jagger’s Family in Panic as Relative Goes Missing in the UK
A sense of worry has gripped the family of rock legend Sir Mick Jagger after one of their own went missing in Cornwall. The Rolling Stones frontman’s granddaughter, Assisi Jackson, is facing a distressing situation after her longtime boyfriend, Alexander Key, disappeared in the coastal village of Boscastle.
Key, a 37-year-old chef and co-owner of the local seafood restaurant The Rocket Store, was last seen on Friday, January 23, at the Cobweb Inn around 2:30 PM. CCTV footage shows him leaving the pub alone about an hour later, but when he didn’t return home, Assisi and local authorities grew concerned. Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed a missing persons report was filed on Saturday night.
Assisi’s mother, jewelry designer Jade Jagger, daughter of Mick and his first wife Bianca, has been actively helping with the search. She shared photos on social media and urged the public for information. Key is described as having striking bright peroxide blond hair, a medium build, and was last seen wearing a bright orange jacket over a black hoodie with trainers. The family is increasingly concerned for his welfare, sources told local media.
Authorities have expanded the search across North Cornwall, concentrating on coastal paths, surrounding woodlands, and other areas near Boscastle. Locals have been asked to check sheds, outbuildings, and even dashcam footage for any clues from the day of his disappearance. Police have asked anyone with information to call 999 and reference log number 847 of 24/1/26.
Alexander Key shares two daughters, Ezra and Romy, with Assisi Jackson, and the family says they are anxiously awaiting news. The Cornish community has rallied to support the search, sharing police appeals and offering to help however they can.
Sir Mick Jagger, 82, has maintained a public presence despite the family crisis. He recently celebrated the new year with a lavish party featuring fire breathers and animal-print masks. Professionally, rumors are circulating about a possible 2026 Rolling Stones tour, following the success of their Hackney Diamonds era.
Meanwhile, Jade Jagger has stayed busy with her new “Neverending” jewelry collection, handcrafted in India and inspired by Jaipur’s architecture. Assisi, while primarily focused on her family in Cornwall, has occasionally joined her mother in public appearances to support her artistic work.
Mick Jagger’s extended family includes eight children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, forming a close network of support in this stressful time. As the search enters its fourth day, the family remains hopeful for Key’s safe return. Police and community members continue to circulate flyers and alerts across the United Kingdom to raise awareness.
