Justin Baldoni’s Insane Comments Revealed in Court by Blake Lively’s Driver
New testimony in the ongoing legal battle between It Ends With Us stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has raised serious concerns about the filmmaker’s behavior on set.
According to recently unsealed court documents, Lively’s longtime driver, Kevin Alexander, described hearing Baldoni make disturbing comments about women during a car ride with Lively and her assistant. The deposition was released as part of a large set of documents made public on January 20.
Alexander claimed the comments were explicit and inappropriate for a professional environment. He said Baldoni discussed s**** relations with women in a way that made him very uncomfortable, adding that the remarks involved how he was forced on and he forced himself on women.
The driver said the statements were so unsettling that he found it difficult to focus while driving. To me it was very out of the ordinary to meet somebody and talk like that in a vehicle, Alexander said, emphasizing that it was his first time meeting Baldoni.
After the ride, Alexander told Lively he felt uneasy and wanted to warn her. I stated to Blake, ‘I feel very uncomfortable. Something is not right here. I would like to do a background check on him or something,’ he said. The testimony paints a picture of behavior that shocked those around him, according to the documents.
The unsealed filings also include messages between Lively and her reportedly estranged friend Taylor Swift. Lively allegedly called Baldoni a doofus director and a clown, while Swift reportedly referred to him as a b***. These messages add to the public scrutiny surrounding the case.
Lively’s lawsuit, which started in late 2024, alleges s**** harassment and a smear campaign on set. Baldoni has denied the claims. His $400 million defamation countersuit against Lively was dismissed last year.
Outside the courtroom, both stars are continuing their careers. Lively recently finished filming Another Simple Favor, a sequel to her 2018 hit, and is attached to the thriller The Survival List, which is in pre-production. Meanwhile, her husband Ryan Reynolds is working on the next Deadpool installment.
Baldoni has been active through his production company, Wayfarer Studios. He is also executive-produced projects like the drama Eleanor the Great and the action-comedy Code 3, while continuing to run his Man Enough platform focused on masculinity.
The trial is set to begin on May 18, in New York City. U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman is currently reviewing Baldoni’s motion for summary judgment. The new testimony from Alexander and the messages between Lively and Swift are likely to play a significant role in how the case unfolds.
It will be interesting to see how this evidence affects the trial and the reputations of both parties. What do you think about the driver’s testimony and these new revelations? Share your thoughts in the comments.
