Margaret Qualley is proving that true elegance doesn’t need to shout to be heard. Stepping into the Paris light for the Chanel Haute Couture show, the actress bypassed the typical fashion week theatrics in favor of a look that was as grounded as it was glamorous.

The core of her ensemble was a custom Chanel sheath dress, a sleeveless design that fell gracefully to mid-calf. The piece was entirely encrusted with fine black sequins that caught the natural light with a subtle, liquid-like shimmer. Its V-neckline provided a clean, structured frame for her collarbone, ensuring the silhouette remained sharp and intentional without ever appearing severe.

Qualley paired the dress with Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 two-tone pumps, featuring the iconic white leather and black toe caps that have long been a signature of the house. She carried a structured black leather bag that complemented the linear nature of her dress. To finish the look, she wore long earrings from the same Pre-Fall collection.

Qualley is currently riding a wave of acclaim following her standout performance as Sue in the 2024 body horror hit The Substance. Starring alongside Demi Moore, she played a younger, idealized version of an aging star, a role that earned her widespread awards buzz. She has also become a frequent collaborator of director Yorgos Lanthimos, recently appearing in Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness.

The actress recently starred in Richard Linklater’s biographical drama Blue Moon, which premiered in 2025 and featured her as Elizabeth Weiland.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2026, Qualley has several major projects on the horizon. She is set to star in the black comedy thriller How to Make a Killing, which is scheduled for a February release in the United States. Directed by John Patton Ford, the film features an ensemble cast including Glen Powell, Ed Harris, and Jessica Henwick.

Additionally, she is slated to appear in The Dog Stars, a post-production drama where she will star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch.

Beyond her film work, Qualley has continued to build her legacy as a fashion muse and a talented dancer. She notably choreographed and performed in the music video for Tiny Moves by Bleachers, the band fronted by her husband, Jack Antonoff. The couple’s high-profile marriage has made them a staple of the New York and Los Angeles social scenes.
