Kim Kardashian Credits Wesley Snipes with Saving Her Life as a Teen — Reveals Emotional Story
During a recent episode of her sister Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, Kim Kardashian shared a personal story about an encounter with Wesley Snipes that she says changed her life as a teenager. The 45-year-old reality star recalled the incident while answering questions about her wildest experiences that the public never knew.
“I just want to start it off with: Wesley Snipes saved my life,” Kim said. “And he doesn’t know this story. He has no clue who I was.”
Kim explained that the event happened when she was around 17, visiting New York City with friends. She described how the night started at a popular club called Life, and then moved to a house party later in the early morning hours. Without money or cell phones to get home, she felt stranded and unsure how to find her way back to her friend’s place.
“I was probably terrified,” Kim admitted. “All I had was this address written on my hand, and I didn’t have my money.”
That’s when she ran into Wesley Snipes. “I’m walking out, and I don’t know if Wesley Snipes lived in the building or what, but he was there,” Kim recalled. She asked him for a ride, and Snipes agreed on the condition they stop for breakfast along the way.
Kim said Snipes didn’t give off any creepy vibes and instead used the time to give her some life advice. “He probably thought you were some drunk crazy kid,” Khloé joked, to which Kim replied she hadn’t been drinking. Snipes, now 63, reportedly told her, “You’re too young to be at parties, if there was a house party there or whatever… You shouldn’t be out at the clubs. You shouldn’t be at these things. I’m going to take you home, and I never want to see you out at these things until you’re old enough.”
The rest was history. “I’ve never seen him again,” Kim lamented. “He saved my life. He schooled the s**** out of me. Scared me to death about being at club because [after] I’m like, ‘Oh, I’ll never be at a club again.'”
Kim said she never saw him again but still hopes to meet him to let him know how much the encounter meant. “Shout out to Wesley Snipes,” she said. “I hope this message gets to you that you are a lifesaver!”
