Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s relationship has suddenly been pulled into fresh drama after a late-night sighting in Paris started spreading online. A viral post on X is now being blamed for turning a simple hotel exit into a cheating rumour that quickly took over social media.

The story started when Chalamet travelled to Paris to promote his Oscar-nominated film Marty Supreme. After the premiere and the after-party, fans spotted him leaving a hotel with French-Romanian actress Anamaria Vartolomei.

Photos and short clips were shared online, and one viral post on X claimed the pair looked surprised when they noticed cameras and quickly went back inside before leaving again later with heavy security. That post became the main source of the cheating speculation.

Within hours, people online began sharing screenshots and creating theories. Many posts suggested the situation looked secretive and suspicious. The internet quickly turned the moment into a possible scandal and rumours about Chalamet cheating on Kylie Jenner started trending.

Soon after, other videos and posts began to tell a different story. Fans who dug deeper shared footage that showed Chalamet and Vartolomei were actually with a larger group of friends and security. Some clips even showed Chalamet returning to the hotel alone. These posts were also shared widely on X and TikTok and became the main source pushing back against the cheating claims.

Right now, there is no real proof that anything romantic happened in Paris. The situation appears to be based on blurry photos, short clips, and speculation online.

The rumours also feel strange because of what Chalamet said recently at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards. While accepting the Best Actor award, he thanked Kylie Jenner and called her his partner of three years. During the speech he said, I love you, I couldn’t do this without you, and cameras showed Jenner mouthing the words back to him in the audience.

Away from the drama, Chalamet is currently at a major high point in his career. His film Marty Supreme has been a big success for A24. The sports dramedy, directed by Josh Safdie, follows a 1950s table tennis prodigy named Marty Mauser.

According to box office reports shared by entertainment media, the movie recently passed Everything Everywhere All at Once to become A24’s highest-grossing domestic film. Critics have praised Chalamet’s performance and many award analysts have named him a strong Oscar contender.

Anamaria Vartolomei, the actress seen with him in Paris, is also well known in the film world. She won a César Award for Happening and recently appeared in Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17. In past interviews, she has said she would like to work with Chalamet professionally.

Chalamet’s schedule is already packed for the future. Film industry reports say he is expected to return for Dune: Part Three, which is planned for release in December 2026.

The Paris moment looks like another case of social media running ahead of the facts. The rumour began from a viral post and spread quickly, but there is still no clear evidence that Chalamet cheated.
