Meet Karley Scott Collins the Rising Country Singer Connected to Keith Urban Post-Nicole Kidman Split
Keith Urban is at the center of a fresh wave of romance rumors, this time involving one of the fastest-rising names in country music. Just weeks after finalizing his highly publicized divorce from Nicole Kidman in January, the 58-year-old country icon has been linked to 26-year-old singer-songwriter Karley Scott Collins.
The speculation began after the two developed a close bond while touring together, leading some to wonder if Urban has found a new partner within the Nashville music scene.
Born to parents Nena and Scott Collins, the young artist grew up in Lake City, Florida, where she first discovered her creative spirit. Before she was a country mainstay, Karley actually pursued a successful acting career, landing roles in projects like The Class, The Hottie and the Nottie, and the hit series Once Upon a Time.
She famously shared that she only started playing music because she was an actress when she was younger and needed to learn guitar for an audition at the age of nine. What started as a requirement for a role quickly turned into a lifelong obsession as she never put it down.
Growing up in a household where rock and country were always playing, Karley felt that everything kind of clicked once she mastered her first few chords. She soon began filling notebooks with lyrics, and her life started revolving around music almost entirely by the time she finished high school and moved to Nashville.
Karley’s professional music journey took a massive leap forward in 2019 when a publisher overheard her singing and offered her a deal on the spot. Since then, she has been a vocal advocate for her peers, stating she is really proud to be a woman in music during an era of significant growth for female artists.
Her big break arrived in 2023 when she signed with Sony Music Nashville, eventually releasing her debut album, Flight Risk, in late 2025. However, the romance rumors reaching a fever pitch this February have prompted a direct response from Karley herself.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the singer shared a screenshot of a headline claiming Urban had moved in with her and wrote that the gossip was absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue.
While they share a deep professional respect—having collaborated on the track “Write One” and traveled the globe on Urban’s “High and Alive” tour—she insists their connection is purely a mentorship.

As of February, Keith Urban is keeping his focus on a massive international tour schedule despite the tabloid scrutiny. He is set to return to the UK in March to headline the C2C: Country to Country festival, with major dates planned for London, Glasgow, and Belfast.
He is also promoting his 12th studio album, HIGH, which features the hit single “Messed Up as Me,” a song many fans have analyzed for clues about his recent split from Kidman. Karley Scott Collins is also preparing for a landmark year, as she was recently announced as a special guest for Luke Bryan’s “Word On The Street” tour, which kicks off this May.
Between her own headlining club dates and her growing list of festival appearances, she is quickly becoming a household name in the genre. For now, both artists seem more interested in topping the country charts than confirming the whispers about their private lives.
Do you think the constant rumors following Keith Urban’s divorce are just a side effect of his high profile, or are fans right to look for deeper meanings in his musical collaborations? Share your thoughts in the comments.
