Moriarty is best known for playing Annie January, also called Starlight, on the hit Prime Video series The Boys. Over the years, she has built a strong following by sharing pieces of her life outside the show. Her social media often shows relaxed, stylish moments that feel very different from her superhero role.

Her post comes as she prepares for a major turning point in her career. The final season of The Boys is set to premiere on Prime Video on April 8. This fifth season will close out the story after nearly eight years. The final episodes are expected to focus on a violent showdown between the vigilantes and Vought, with Starlight playing a key role.

After filming wrapped, Moriarty shared an emotional message with fans on Instagram. She wrote, I said goodbye to most of my work family today and I’ll be ready to smile about it when I’m ready to smile about it.

The post reflected how much the series has meant to her over the years. The final season will include eight episodes and reunite her with longtime co-stars like Antony Starr, Karl Urban, and Jack Quaid. New cast members, including Daveed Diggs, will also appear.

Outside of The Boys, Moriarty has been lining up new film roles. She will star in the supernatural thriller The Haunting in Wicker Park alongside Jamie Campbell Bower. The movie is based on a true story involving a televised exorcism in 1971 and is directed by Gary Fleder.

Fans have spotted Moriarty in other recent projects too. Earlier this year, she made a brief appearance as herself on the comedy series The Studio. She also continues to show up at major events, including the Golden Globes, where she drew attention with a custom gown.

Between eye-catching fashion moments and a packed work schedule, Moriarty is entering a busy new chapter. With the end of The Boys approaching and several films on the way, she is clearly moving beyond one defining role and shaping a broader career.
