Amanda Seyfried, 40, Stuns With Sultry Curves in Daring New Shoot for Flaunt Magazine
A new cover story from Flaunt Magazine puts Amanda Seyfried back in the spotlight and shows where her career is heading now. The feature appears in Issue 202, called “Baby It’s Cold Inside,” and the photos were shot by Greg Swales. The images focus on a mix of elegance and strength that matches the kinds of roles she has been choosing lately.
The styling in the shoot comes from Chris Campbell, who dressed Seyfried in pieces from Balmain and jewelry by Tiffany & Co.. The goal was to show both glamour and seriousness at the same time, which fits the moment she is in right now as an actor.
The interview that goes with the photos was written by Ann Lee for Flaunt Magazine. During the conversation, Seyfried spoke openly about how modern life feels more controlled and less private. She said, We’re losing power all the time, and explained that this change is happening slowly but constantly. She added, Like, all the time. We’re losing privacy, and we’re losing our autonomy.
She also believes that many people do not notice how much they give up. So many sacrifices that we’re making [today] are made unconsciously…but I think we still have the power to make waves for ourselves and for each other. We still do.
This discussion connects closely to her new film, The Testament of Ann Lee, directed by Mona Fastvold. In the movie, Seyfried plays the real founder of the Shaker movement. The film includes choreography from Celia Rowlson-Hall and music by Daniel Blumberg. Many people expect this role to become one of the biggest moments of her career, especially after her Oscar nomination for Mank and her Emmy-winning work in The Dropout.
She has also been busy on television. She appeared in the thriller series The Crowded Room with Tom Holland, where she played a focused interrogator. Reports also say she may return to musicals through a stage adaptation of Thelma & Louise.
Away from Hollywood, Seyfried spends much of her time living on a farm in the Catskills. That quiet lifestyle shapes how she thinks about privacy and control. She has often shared that stepping away from city life helps her keep the personal space she feels the public is losing.
The visual team for the shoot also included hairstylist Orlando Pita and makeup artist Genevieve Herr. Together they created portraits that feel modern but also timeless.
