Charli XCX Turns Heads in Short Leather at ‘The Moment’ London Premiere — Legs for Days Steal the Spotlight
Charli XCX turned heads at the London premiere of her new A24 film, The Moment, showing off a daring black leather look that left photographers and fans in awe. The pop star arrived at Picturehouse Central in a peplum-waist leather jacket, matching bikini-cut bottoms, and thigh-high boots, creating a striking silhouette that emphasized her signature “legs for days.”
Grammys corset, tour shorts, new tights, wedding bra, her stylist Chris Horan explained on social media, detailing the pieces that went into the bold outfit. Charli’s look drew from her own archival fashion, giving fans a glimpse of her fearless style evolution.

The Moment is not a typical concert film. Directed by Aidan Zamiri, it’s a satirical comedy-drama in which Charli plays an exaggerated version of herself navigating the chaos of her 2024 arena tour.
The story highlights her clashes with the music industry, including a hilariously oblivious director played by Alexander Skarsgård. The tone wouldn’t have been the same anywhere else, Charli said, pointing to the UK setting and Zamiri’s Glasgow background as key to the movie’s dry humor.
The cast is stacked with well-known names, including Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, Rachel Sennott, and Kylie Jenner making her acting debut. Charli also worked with longtime collaborator A. G. Cook to create the soundtrack, which matches the film’s frantic and satirical energy.
Charli has been busy in other areas too. She contributed music to Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights, including the single House, praised for giving the Brontë story a modern, gothic pop twist. She is also slated to appear in Gregg Araki’s erotic thriller I Want Your Sex and the dark comedy The Gallerist with Natalie Portman. Her dramatic side will be seen in the Polish-British project Erupcja, which premiered at SXSW.
At the London premiere, Charli posed with co-stars Skarsgård and Rish Shah, adding to the buzz around the film’s upcoming release. Her self-parody in The Moment shows she is willing to poke fun at her own fame while still commanding attention with her style and presence.
By embracing archival fashion and her fearless personality, Charli XCX is proving that her “Brat” era is far from over. With multiple film projects lined up for 2026, she seems poised to dominate both music and cinema.
