Emma Stone maintained her flawless awards season run with another high-fashion moment at the Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1. The actress arrived at the Shrine Auditorium in a custom Louis Vuitton creation that leaned into a delicate, ethereal aesthetic.

The pastel purple slip dress featured ultra-thin straps and a soft scooped neckline, creating a minimalist silhouette that was elevated by intricate, hand-sewn beadwork. These embellishments were strategically placed to mimic a shimmering chainmail texture, giving the lightweight fabric a sophisticated sense of depth and weight.

Stone paired the gown with a matching long-sleeve bolero jacket in the same lavender hue, which carried the same glossy finish through its own detailed beading. She kept her beauty look understated, opting for a soft, face-framing bob and natural makeup that let the monochromatic ensemble take center stage.

As a long-standing ambassador for Louis Vuitton, Stone has utilized her partnership with the French fashion house to craft a cohesive style narrative throughout the year. Just last week at the BAFTAs, she made waves in a black halter-neck dress with a daring bodice cutout, while her Golden Globes look earlier in the season featured a trendy butter-yellow fringed skirt.

Working closely with stylist Petra Flannery, Stone has consistently demonstrated the power of “less is more” during her latest press circuit. Stone was in attendance as a nominee for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her work in the sci-fi black comedy Bugonia.

This nomination marks her sixth individual acting nod from the guild, a ceremony where she previously found success winning for La La Land in 2017. Her performance in Bugonia has also earned her a Best Actress nomination for the upcoming Academy Awards, further cementing her status as a powerhouse in contemporary cinema.

In Bugonia, Stone portrays Michelle Fuller, a high-powered pharmaceutical CEO who finds herself abducted by two conspiracy theorists, played by Jesse Plemons and Aidan Delbis. The men are convinced she is a disguised alien from the Andromedan royal family intent on sabotaging Earth’s honeybee population.

The film, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, is a remake of the South Korean cult classic Save the Green Planet! and marks the fifth collaboration between Stone and the visionary Greek filmmaker. Outside of her award-season rounds, Stone has been keeping an incredibly busy schedule as both an actress and a producer through her company, Fruit Tree.

She recently signed on to star in a highly anticipated romantic comedy titled The Catch, which will be directed by her husband, Dave McCary. The project, which is set to co-star Chris Pine, follows a woman who accidentally interferes with a crucial play at a baseball game and must deal with the resulting public fallout.

Additionally, Stone remains active as a producer for several indie projects, including the upcoming film The Yogurt Shop Murders. She also continues to receive praise for her work in the 2025 dark comedy Eddington, which featured an ensemble cast including Joaquin Phoenix and Pedro Pascal.

Between her record-breaking award nominations—she recently became the youngest woman to earn seven Oscar nods—and her expanding production slate, Stone’s influence on the industry is at an all-time high.
