Timothée Chalamet turned the 32nd Annual Actor Awards into a heartwarming family affair on Sunday, March 1. While the 30-year-old actor has often been accompanied by his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, throughout this year’s busy awards circuit, he chose to bring his mother, Nicole Flender, as his guest for the evening.

The pair made a coordinated yet contrasting statement on the red carpet, with Chalamet opting for a sleek monochromatic Prada look consisting of an off-white blazer and shirt paired with black trousers, while Flender brightened the room in a vibrant pink gown. The mother-son duo shared several sweet moments for the cameras, including a charming gesture where Chalamet presented his mother with a single rose.

This wasn’t the first time Flender has supported her son during his Marty Supreme run; she recently attended the film’s New York premiere in December, where she famously adhered to an all-orange dress code alongside Chalamet and Jenner.

At the Actor Awards, the pair was there to celebrate Chalamet’s nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, as well as a nod for the film’s ensemble cast. The ceremony also marked the debut of an official dress code, established by fashion partner ELLE magazine.

The theme, “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the ’20s and ’30s,” encouraged stars to draw inspiration from an era of cinematic bold expression and structured elegance. Chalamet’s minimalist off-white ensemble offered a modern, polished take on the classic studio-era suit, standing out in a sea of traditional black tuxedos.

While Jenner skipped the red carpet this time around, she has been a steady presence by Chalamet’s side for the majority of the year. The couple recently made headlines at the BAFTA Awards in London on February 22, where they coordinated in matching black looks.

Earlier in the season at the Golden Globes, Chalamet used his acceptance speech to publicly acknowledge the depth of his support system. For my parents, for my partner, I love you. Thank you so much, he told the audience while reflecting on the sweetness of his recent success.

Chalamet has certainly had plenty to be grateful for lately, as Marty Supreme continues to dominate the cultural conversation. The A24 sports drama, directed by Josh Safdie, features Chalamet as Marty Mauser, a fictionalized version of real-life table tennis legend Marty Reisman.

The film, which follows a ping-pong prodigy’s rise in 1950s New York, boasts an eclectic supporting cast including Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, and Fran Drescher. Looking toward the latter half of the year, Chalamet’s schedule remains packed with high-profile releases and new challenges.

He is currently in the midst of post-production for Dune: Part Three, which is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the final installment of the trilogy will adapt Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah and will see Chalamet’s Paul Atreides facing the consequences of his rise to power alongside Zendaya and Florence Pugh.

In addition to his return to Arrakis, Chalamet has been preparing for his role in the James Mangold thriller High Side. In this project, he plays a former MotoGP racer who finds himself entangled in a dangerous robbery, a role that reportedly required intensive motorcycle training throughout late 2025.

Between his award-winning turn as a ping-pong shark and his upcoming return to the world of sci-fi epics, the actor continues to prove he is one of his generation’s most versatile leading men.
