Anna Camp recently shared a significant personal update, officially coming out as bisexual during an appearance on the podcast I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario.

The 43-year-old actress expressed immense pride in embracing her identity at this stage of her life, despite the pressures of living in the public eye. She noted that while being open about her private life can feel vulnerable, the freedom to live authentically is far more important to her than any outside judgment.

Reflecting on her journey, she shared, “As a 43-year-old woman, I am very proud of myself for owning my sexuality at this age. I am a very strong person for doing it in somewhat of a spotlight with people criticizing and judging and making assumptions. I’m really proud to be bisexual.”

She described this realization as a major evolution and emphasized that she no longer fears the process of self-discovery. Camp also acknowledged that sharing her truth on a public platform can feel like a gamble.

“Sure, there are times I feel like I am taking a risk, and this is scary, and I’m doing it in a public forum. But to say, ‘No, I only get one life, and I want to be happy,’ that’s what life is all about,” she told the host.

This official confirmation comes nearly a year after she first sparked romance rumors with her girlfriend, stylist Jade Whipkey. The couple first caught the attention of fans last year through a series of social media posts, including a sweet photo from a candlelit dinner where Whipkey described Camp’s smile as a poem.

They later made their formal debut as a couple on the red carpet for the premiere of Bride Hard in June 2025. During their public outings, Camp has been quick to defend their relationship from critics who pointed out their 18-year age difference, stating that Whipkey is more mature than many people her own age.

This relationship marks Camp’s first public romance with a woman following her previous marriages to actors Michael Mosley and Skylar Astin. She has spoken openly about how her recent life changes have allowed her to feel more grounded and more like herself than ever before.

Her fans and peers have largely responded with support, celebrating her decision to prioritize her happiness and personal growth during this new chapter. On the professional front, Anna Camp remains a fixture in both film and television.

She recently appeared in the fifth and final season of the Netflix hit You, where she showcased her dramatic range in a dual role as the Lockwood sisters. Fans also flocked to theaters in late February to see her as Jessica Bowden in Scream 7, a slasher sequel that has already grossed over $149 million at the box office.

In addition to her success in horror and suspense, Camp continues to be celebrated for her comedic roots. She recently reunited with her Pitch Perfect co-star Rebel Wilson for the action-comedy Bride Hard, which hit theaters in the summer of 2025.

With several new projects rumored to be in development this year, the actress is enjoying a period of both professional success and personal liberation as she continues to evolve as an artist.
