James Gunn’s (59) Wife Jennifer Holland (38) Shows Off Curves in Backless Sequined Red Dress at Saturn Awards

Jennifer Holland drew plenty of attention when she arrived at the 53rd Annual Saturn Awards in Los Angeles this week. The actress attended the event with her husband, DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn.

Holland wore a floor-length sequined red dress with an open back that highlighted her figure. Gunn chose a more classic look, wearing a black suit with a matching tie.

Photographers gathered as the couple posed together on the red carpet. The pair appeared relaxed and cheerful while greeting fans and members of the press. Their appearance comes during a very busy period for both of them, especially as Gunn continues to lead major projects connected to the DC Universe.

Holland recently spoke about her husband’s demanding schedule and how it affects their daily life. Speaking to reporters at the event, she explained that she understands how much effort he is putting into his work with DC Studios. I’ve not been, in any way, upset or judgmental with James, she said while discussing how busy he has been. Holland made it clear that she supports his work and knows how important it is to him.

She also explained that Gunn is fully focused on his current responsibilities. He is taking on this opportunity that he has at DC with 100% full force, Holland added, noting that his dedication often means work continues even after they leave the office.

Holland has been closely connected to many of Gunn’s projects over the past few years. Fans know her best for playing Agent Emilia Harcourt in the 2021 film The Suicide Squad. She later continued the role in the Peacemaker television series, which stars John Cena as Christopher Smith.

The actress recently returned to the role again in the second season of Peacemaker. The show premiered on HBO Max in August 2025. The story continues to follow Christopher Smith as he finds himself in an alternate reality where everything in his life seems perfect. Harcourt remains part of the team while dealing with the aftermath of what happened in the first season.

While Holland has stayed active on television, Gunn has been focused on one of the biggest upcoming DC films. His Superman movie was released last summer. The film stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent, with Rachel Brosnahan playing Lois Lane. Nicholas Hoult appears as Lex Luthor, while Nathan Fillion and Isabela Merced also have roles in the movie.

The couple continues to work together as DC Studios builds its next group of movies and shows. Upcoming projects include Supergirl, starring Milly Alcock. Gunn has also said that Peacemaker will remain an important part of the studio’s television plans.

For now, Holland’s red carpet appearance has become a talking point among fans who follow the DC franchise and the couple’s creative partnership.
