Kaia Gerber is once again proving that she inherited more than just her mother’s height and high cheekbones. The 24-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford has mastered the art of the little black dress, recently putting a delicate, ballerina-inspired spin on the classic style for an evening in Los Angeles.

Attending Vanity Fair’s Vanities party, Gerber chose a stunning Givenchy creation that featured romantic black lace and a daring, ultra-plunging neckline. The dress stood out with its sleeveless design and a pleated tutu-style skirt, giving the look a whimsical yet sophisticated feel.

To keep the focus on the intricate lace, she skipped jewelry and finished the outfit with classic black pumps and loose, wavy hair. This isn’t the first time the model and actress has reached for a dark silhouette to make a statement this year.

Last month at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, she arrived in a knitted mesh maxidress, also from Givenchy. That specific look featured a racerback design and a sleek pencil skirt, which she paired with a side-parted blowout and rosy, fresh-faced makeup.

Gerber’s style often mirrors her famous mother’s iconic fashion sense, and the pair even coordinated their looks earlier this year in New York City. While Kaia wore a straight-neck black dress, Crawford opted for a dramatic one-arm gown with a daring slit.

The duo’s matching appearance further solidified the idea that the little black dress remains a staple in the Crawford-Gerber family wardrobe. Aside from her red-carpet appearances, Kaia has been working hard to build a substantial acting resume that goes far beyond the runway.

Fans recently saw her in the second season of the Apple TV+ series Palm Royale, where she returned as the ambitious manicurist Mitzi. She also recently played Jacqueline Carlin in the biographical drama Saturday Night, which followed the chaotic true story of the very first episode of Saturday Night Live.

The young star has several high-profile projects lined up for the remainder of the year that will see her working with major Hollywood names. She is set to appear in the psychological horror film Mother Mary, which stars Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel and is scheduled for an April release.

Additionally, she has a role in the upcoming movie Outcome, a dark comedy directed by Jonah Hill that features a cast including Keanu Reeves and Matt Bomer. Gerber is also moving into the world of prestige television with a lead role in the FX series The Shards, an adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel.

Produced by Ryan Murphy, the show is a period thriller set in 1980s Los Angeles, marking a more dramatic turn for the actress. Between her busy filming schedule and her continued presence as a fashion icon, Kaia is successfully carving out a unique identity in the industry.
