Kathryn Newton Commands the Spotlight in a Fierce Look at ‘Ready or Not 2’ SXSW Premiere
Kathryn Newton grabbed attention at the 2026 SXSW Film & TV Festival during the world premiere of Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. The actress wore a floral mini-dress paired with a studded leather jacket, creating a look that was both bold and stylish on the red carpet.
The film continues the story from the 2019 cult favorite. Newton plays Faith MacCaullay, the younger sister of Samara Weaving’s character, Grace.
Her character is drawn into a deadly game run by a secretive and powerful cabal. Newton described the filming as intense, saying, “We spent most of the shoot covered in various stages of blood and dirt, so being here today in actual clothes feels like a luxury.”
