Priyanka Chopra Jonas made a triumphant return to the Academy Awards stage on Sunday night, ending a nearly decade-long absence from the ceremony in spectacular fashion.

The global icon graced the 98th Oscars red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, accompanied by her husband, Nick Jonas, and immediately became one of the evening’s most discussed fashion highlights.

She chose a bespoke white Dior gown from the brand’s Spring couture collection, featuring a strapless bodice, gathered waist detailing, and a bold, high-thigh slit accented with unexpected black-and-white ruffled feather trim.

The actress complemented the structural elegance of her gown with a sophisticated Bvlgari diamond-and-emerald collar from the label’s High Jewelry Eclettica collection. Her beauty leaned into a classic Old Hollywood aesthetic, pairing her side-parted, sleek waves with a dewy complexion and a rich brick-toned lip.

Just hours before stepping onto the red carpet, she offered fans a glimpse of the final preparations, jokingly sharing a behind-the-scenes moment on her Instagram Stories while a stylist made a last-minute adjustment, captioning the post, Last minute.com.

Joining her on the carpet, Nick Jonas looked sharp in a black velvet tuxedo, though eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot a meaningful detail on his wrist: a traditional red-and-yellow kalava thread.

The couple’s appearance was a showstopper, even overcoming a minor logistical adventure involving a golf cart ride to the venue that briefly rocked the internet after viral clips circulated.

Later in the evening, Priyanka took the stage alongside Javier Bardem to present the award for Best International Feature Film to the Norwegian entry Sentimental Value.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has maintained an incredibly busy schedule over the past year, recently starring in the swashbuckler action thriller The Bluff, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in late February 2026.

In that film, she plays a former pirate forced to protect her family, a role that required intense physical preparation. Beyond her Hollywood endeavors, she is currently deep in production for the highly anticipated Indian epic Varanasi, directed by the acclaimed filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli.

Describing the upcoming project as career-defining, Priyanka has spent the last several months filming the massive action-adventure in locations spanning from India to Antarctica.

The film, which also stars Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is scheduled for a grand global release on April 7, 2027. With a reported budget exceeding $150 million, it is set to be one of the most ambitious and expensive Indian films ever produced.

As she transitions between high-stakes international productions and red-carpet honors, Priyanka continues to solidify her reputation as a versatile talent and a global style chameleon. Her ability to command attention in both her professional roles and her public appearances remains unmatched.
