In this sequel, Grace faces a new and more dangerous situation. Gellar joins the cast as a new character connected to a powerful group going after her. The movie also features Elijah Wood and David Cronenberg in acting roles.

Outside of this project, Gellar has been active in other popular titles. She recently appeared in Dexter: Original Sin and also worked on Masters of the Universe: Revolution as a voice actor.
