Miley Cyrus returned to the spotlight for a major fan moment as she attended the premiere of the Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special in Los Angeles. The event took place at the El Capitan Theatre and comes just before the special is released on Disney+.

Cyrus arrived with her partner Maxx Morando and her mother Tish Cyrus. The night brought together many familiar faces from the original show, turning the premiere into a reunion for the cast.

Actors Jason Earles, Moisés Arias, Shanica Knowles, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, and Cody Linley were all present. Singer David Archuleta, who appeared in the series, also joined the event.

One key cast member, Emily Osment, did not attend. She shared a message online explaining that she is busy filming the show Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. In her post, she looked back on her time on the series and wrote, “Hannah Montana changed my life, it gave me a lifelong respect for this medium of comedy, it taught me discipline, patience, timing and respect working in an adult space so young.”

She also thanked fans, adding, “I can’t tell you what your sweet messages mean to me and how lucky I feel to have been apart of this once in a generation goliath of a television show… Would never be where I am without you guys… With all my heart, THANK YOU!”

The event also drew a mix of celebrities from music, film, and sports. Among them were Rei Ami, Willow Smith, Jaden Smith, Lainey Wilson, JoJo Siwa, Ilona Maher, and Dara Reneé.

The upcoming special is described as a project made for fans. It includes a long interview with Cyrus led by Alex Cooper from the Call Her Daddy podcast. It was filmed with a live audience and will show past moments from the show, guest appearances, and a new performance from Cyrus.

The release is expected to bring back memories for longtime viewers and show how much the series still means to fans today.

This kind of reunion feels genuine because it brings back the original cast and not just the main star. It shows that the show had a real impact on the people involved and the audience. It also feels like a good way to celebrate a series that shaped a generation. What do you think about this premiere and the anniversary special? Share your thoughts in the comments.
