Series creator Adi Shankar spoke to Collider in a Spring Exclusive Preview, explaining how Vergil changes the dynamic of the show. “The interesting part is that Vergil’s a guy who can stand completely still and still feel like the most dangerous one in the room. His presence does the talking,” he said. According to Shankar, Vergil’s calm but deadly demeanor offers a fresh challenge for Dante, making the upcoming season even more intense and unpredictable.
Devil May Cry: Season 2 launches on Netflix on May 12.
