Safe Houses is set to be an eight-episode limited series based on Dan Fesperman’s 2018 novel. The story begins with the murder of a CIA officer in Madrid, sparking a dangerous investigation from two very different women. Ana de Armas’s character is accused of the crime and must clear her name, while Connelly’s character, the officer’s widow, starts her own investigation from the inside. Their paths collide as they uncover a global conspiracy.
