The post comes a week after his heated confrontation with a neighbour that turned physical. Authorities have cleared Alan Ritchson after a front-yard fight in Brentwood, Tennessee, went viral. Video showed Ritchson exchanging punches with his neighbor, Ronnie Taylor, while his kids watched.
The Brentwood Police Department and Williamson County District Attorney’s Office concluded that Ritchson acted in self-defense and decided not to press charges. Police Captain Steven Pepin told Fox News Digital, “After reviewing available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, authorities determined that no criminal charges will be pursued. Mr. Ritchson’s actions were found to be in self-defense.” A reckless endangerment charge was considered but not pursued.
According to Taylor, the conflict began over Ritchson riding his green Kawasaki motorcycle too fast in the neighborhood. Sources close to Ritchson told TMZ that Taylor confronted him aggressively, pushing him off the bike twice, and instigated the brawl. Ritchson did not start the altercation, authorities confirmed.
Besides brawling, he is busy with several major projects. He will return for a third season of Reacher, which has been a global hit.
