Livvy Dunne Offers Intimate Peek at Life on ‘Baywatch’ Set With Star Cast
Livvy Dunne has shared new behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the upcoming Baywatch, giving fans a closer look at her first big acting role.
According to her Instagram posts, the 23-year-old is currently filming in Malibu alongside a large ensemble cast. The new version of the show brings together a mix of social media personalities, athletes, and established actors working on the reboot of the classic lifeguard series.
Dunne, who recently finished her gymnastics career at LSU, appears in a recurring role as a junior lifeguard. She posted casual set moments showing the beach location, warm sunset lighting, and time spent with cast members during production.
She also shared a selfie featuring Shay Mitchell and Hassie Harrison. In the photo, Mitchell appeared energetic and smiling, while Harrison gave a glimpse of the show’s iconic red lifeguard outfit under her casual clothing.
Other cast members on set include Brooks Nader and Noah Beck, along with additional names such as Jessica Belkin. The group has been filming along the California coast for the reboot.

The new Baywatch series is being developed by Fox as a reimagined version of the original show. It focuses on Hobie Buchannon stepping into leadership at the Baywatch team while working with a new generation of lifeguards on Los Angeles beaches.
Dunne has spoken about how her schedule has changed since leaving competitive gymnastics. She is now balancing filming with travel and personal commitments, including attending baseball games to support her partner, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes.
In recent weeks, she has been moving between filming locations, sports events, and public appearances, showing how busy her new routine has become.
Dunne previously said she was ready to explore acting after finishing college athletics. She explained that sports took priority during her student-athlete years, but now she is focusing on new opportunities in entertainment.
In her words, “It’s something I’ve been passionate about for quite some time. I was interested in doing that at LSU, but sports are your top priority when you’re a student-athlete at school.” She added, “And now that I’m done with school, I have more time to lean into the acting stuff and the creative side of things.”
She also spoke about what motivates her. “Whether it’s gymnastics or acting in a movie or a TV show, I just think watching all your hard work pay off, whether it’s an individual thing or a group thing, I think it’s so cool.”
From a broader view, the casting of influencers and athletes in major TV reboots has sparked debate online. Some question the direction, while others see it as a modern shift in entertainment casting.
