The final episode of Invincible Season 4 is almost here, and a new trailer has made things look much worse for Earth.

The trailer was shared by the show’s official social media pages and Amazon Prime Video. It gives a short but clear look at what is coming next. After the events of the last episode, the danger is now bigger than ever.

In Episode 7, Thragg finally stepped into the fight. He attacked both Omni-Man and Mark Grayson and killed Thaedus. This was his revenge for Argall. Even though Viltrum was destroyed, the situation did not improve. Oliver was left badly hurt, and the Coalition of Planets was losing hope.

The new trailer shows Mark and Nolan talking while they are still in space. Mark is clearly worried about Earth. Nolan tries to calm him down and says, “We’re not even sure Thragg’s there.” But Mark does not agree. He believes Thragg and the other Viltrumites are already heading to Earth for revenge.

The final moments of the trailer make that fear feel real. Several Viltrumites, including Thragg, are shown looking down at Earth. It looks like they are ready to begin their next move. The trailer also hints that they plan to hide among humans and slowly carry out their plan.

Since Mark and Nolan are far away, they will not be able to help right away. This means the planet will depend on Cecil and the Guardians to deal with the threat.

The story may follow what happens in the original Invincible comics. In that version, the Viltrumites change their strategy after losing their home. Instead of open war, they choose to live on Earth and rebuild their race by mixing with humans. This creates powerful hybrids like Mark.

In the comics, Thragg even agrees to stop fighting, but only if his people can stay on Earth. He explains that they will not attack humans directly for now. Instead, they will wait and grow stronger over time. Mark and Nolan accept this deal, even though it feels wrong, because it brings an end to the war.

If the show follows this path, the finale could set up a tense situation where humans and Viltrumites live side by side. The real conflict may continue in the next season, with trust becoming a big issue.

The Season 4 finale of Invincible will be released on April 22 on Prime Video.
