Hailey Bieber has spoken about how she is often perceived by the public and explained what she believes people still misunderstand about her in a new interview.

The discussion took place during her conversation with Interview Magazine, where she was asked directly about the biggest misconception surrounding her public image. Bieber said that while some older opinions about her personality have faded, she still feels that many people don’t really understand who she is.

She pointed out that being in the public eye naturally creates distance between a celebrity and the audience. According to her, most people only see short moments or online impressions, which can lead to incomplete or incorrect ideas about her personality.

In the interview, she said, “I feel like we’re past the misconception that I’m a b***. This is not a misconception, but I feel like people really don’t understand me, which I think is quite common for someone in the public eye. Obviously, people aren’t gonna know me the way you and I know each other. We’ve had certain conversations, and we’ve spent time together, where it’s like you can actually see me. And I feel like that doesn’t translate to the public most of the time.”

She also spoke about how personal interactions give a more accurate picture of who she is, but those moments don’t always reach the wider audience.

The conversation also included interviewer Mel Ottenberg, who noted that his impression of her has stayed consistent over the years, suggesting that personal experience can differ from public perception.

The interview highlights a common issue for public figures, where visibility does not always lead to understanding, and where image can sometimes be shaped more by assumption than real connection.
