Actress Jaz Sinclair has spoken out after news broke that the series “Gen V” will not continue for a third season. Her message came through Instagram Stories and quickly spread among fans of the show.

Sinclair, who plays Marie Moreau in the “The Boys” spin-off, shared a short and emotional note along with her post. She kept her message focused on gratitude for the audience and her experience on the show.

“There’s so much I wanna (and will) say, but for today I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she wrote. She also added, “I’m so happy you’re here and I’m so grateful for this incredible experience 🩸”

Her character Marie was set up as a major figure in the wider “The Boys” universe, especially after the events of the second season of “Gen V,” which now serves as the final season of the spin-off.

The cancellation has left many questions about how the story will continue in the larger franchise. Several characters from “Gen V” are expected to appear in the final season of “The Boys,” but it is still unclear how their stories will be handled going forward.

The series had grown beyond a simple spin-off over its run. By the end of season two, Marie and other characters were tied closely to major events in the main storyline. Some of them were shown to have powerful abilities and connections to key threats in the universe, including the ongoing fight against Homelander.

The creative team behind the franchise has previously explained that the shows are connected but still designed to stand on their own. However, the ending of “Gen V” has raised questions about whether its storylines will receive full closure.

There has also been discussion about how important the spin-off became in shaping the wider story. Key events from “Gen V” directly influenced the direction of “The Boys,” especially in building the conflict against Homelander and his influence.

At this point, it is not confirmed how much of the “Gen V” storyline will carry into future projects or whether there are plans to continue it in another form.

Jaz Sinclair’s message shows appreciation for fans, but also leaves space for uncertainty about what comes next for her character and the wider universe.
