Burger King Is Bringing Back Its ‘Attack on Titan’ Collab With a Black Founding Titan Whopper
Fast food chains teaming up with beloved anime franchises has become one of the more reliable ways to capture devoted fanbases in recent years, and Burger King’s Russian branch has leaned into that trend harder than most. The chain has built an entire track record of transforming ordinary meal combos into genuine collector’s items, and it appears ready to do exactly that again.
That pattern first played out with ‘Attack on Titan‘ back in September 2025, when Burger King Russia launched a themed box built around a Titanic Whopper, fries, a drink, and one of eight randomly selected acrylic character figures. The promotion also included collectible glasses alongside a sweepstakes offering fans a chance to win additional merchandise and even a trip to Japan.
Now, leaked promotional material suggests the partnership is gearing up for a second round. According to reports, Burger King Russia is preparing to relaunch its ‘Attack on Titan’ collaboration on September 16, this time built around an entirely new item called the Founding Titan Whopper.
The centerpiece burger reportedly swaps out the chain’s standard bun for a black version, paired with striking red cheese designed to echo the anime’s darker visual palette. The name draws directly from the Founding Titan, one of the series’ Nine Titans, an ability tied closely to the Eldians’ history and the increasingly dark trajectory of Eren Yeager’s plans as the story unfolds.
Rounding out the menu, the burger is reportedly set to arrive alongside a “Titan Injection” sauce, referencing the serum used throughout the series to transform Eldians into Pure Titans, along with a separate “Rumbling” seasoning made with sriracha, nodding directly to the devastating Wall Titan march that defines the show’s climactic arc.

Beyond the food itself, the revived promotion reportedly includes an appearance from fan-favorite character Gabi, adding another layer of appeal for longtime followers of the series’ later story arcs. Eight new collectible figures are also expected, featuring Eren, Mikasa, and Levi alongside four different Titans, including the Colossal, Jaw, Beast, and Armored Titans.

A separate collection of themed drinking glasses is expected as well, with four designs reportedly featuring the Attack Titan, Colossal Titan, Cart Titan, and Jaw Titan, though those may arrive slightly later than the main food rollout itself. As with the previous collaboration, the entire promotion currently appears limited exclusively to Burger King’s Russian market, meaning fans elsewhere may only get to admire the collectibles from a distance.

Given how enthusiastically fans responded to the original 2025 collaboration, this second round already carries real anticipation heading into its expected September 16 launch. For a franchise built around dark, high-stakes storytelling, translating that same intensity into a fast food promotion is exactly the kind of bold crossover that’s become Burger King Russia’s specialty.
