Zendaya, Tom Holland, and ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Star Dexter Sol Ansell Share a Sweet Moment at the Emmys
Award show photo booths tend to produce some of the most candid glimpses into Hollywood’s tight-knit circles, capturing pairings and friendships that don’t always make it onto the main stage. This year’s Emmys delivered exactly that kind of moment, bringing together three actors from very different corners of the industry for a single memorable snapshot.
Zendaya arrived at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards with plenty on her plate, serving as both a nominee for her role in ‘Euphoria’ and a presenter for the evening. Her husband, Tom Holland, joined her inside the venue, marking a rare public appearance together at an awards show as a couple.
Amid the night’s bigger headlines, one particular photo stood out for its unexpected pairing: Zendaya and Holland posing together with young actor Dexter Sol Ansell, who currently stars as Aegon “Egg” Targaryen in HBO’s ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.’
Ansell, an 11-year-old English actor, has built an impressive résumé for someone still early in his career, having previously played young Coriolanus Snow in ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes’ before landing his current role in the ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel series. His appearance alongside Zendaya and Holland placed him squarely among two of the industry’s biggest current stars for the night.
The photo comes on the heels of a busy evening for Zendaya, who took the stage to present the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, which ultimately went to Jean Smart for her historic fifth ‘Hacks’ win. Holland, meanwhile, was spotted in the audience throughout the night without walking the red carpet himself, choosing instead to support his wife from inside the venue.

Beyond the moment with Ansell, the couple’s night included plenty of other notable interactions. They were photographed posing with ‘The Bear’ star Ayo Edebiri, who also appeared in a separate shot alongside ‘Abbott Elementary’s’ Quinta Brunson, and the pair also spent time chatting with ‘The Testaments’ actress Chase Infiniti during a break in the broadcast.
This wasn’t the only headline-grabbing moment involving Zendaya and Holland during the ceremony. ‘Saturday Night Live’ star Marcello Hernández used his time presenting an award earlier in the night to playfully invite the couple to dinner at his house, a bit that quickly went viral across social media.

Zendaya walked the blue carpet solo earlier in the evening, wearing the same sparkling Prada dress she later wore on stage, with longtime stylist Law Roach assisting with her look before the two posed for photos together with actress Odessa A’zion. The pairing with Ansell added a lighter, more spontaneous touch to what had already become a night full of memorable candid moments.
For a ceremony packed with history-making wins and emotional speeches, these smaller, unscripted photo-booth moments often end up being just as memorable to fans scrolling through their feeds the next morning. Between the viral dinner invitation and this sweet photo with a rising young star, Zendaya and Holland’s Emmy night offered plenty of charm well beyond the awards themselves.
