‘Hunger Games’ Star Jennifer Lawrence Channels Quiet Luxury in New Longines Shots by Tom Craig
Few Hollywood brand partnerships have felt as natural as Jennifer Lawrence and Longines. The Oscar-winning actress has served as the Swiss watchmaker’s Ambassador of Elegance since 2022, fronting campaigns built around the brand’s longtime motto that elegance is an attitude. Her very first official images for the house, shot by Dan Jackson, showed her in a black dress wearing a Master Collection watch.
Since then, the partnership has only grown. Last year, Lawrence starred in the campaign for the redesigned PrimaLuna, posing inside an empty opera house for images built around the watch’s moonphase design. This summer, Longines relaunched its flagship Master Collection, which first arrived in 2005, with a “Home of Elegance” campaign that gathered Lawrence alongside fellow ambassadors Kate Winslet, Henry Cavill, Eddie Peng, Zhao Liying, and Yosh Yu.
Now, fresh images of Lawrence photographed by Tom Craig for Longines are making the rounds online. The 2 shots show the actress in a sleek dark shirt and trousers in one frame and a long grey coat in the other, with a silver Longines watch taking center stage on her wrist.
The styling leans heavily into understated luxury. Lawrence’s blonde hair falls in soft waves with curtain bangs, and the warm-toned interior, complete with a glowing table lamp and a polished wooden side table, gives the images an intimate, lived-in feel.
The quiet mood of the new photos lines up neatly with how Lawrence has described her own sense of style. “Elegance is effortless and simple. Understated,” she told Watchonista during the PrimaLuna launch, adding that the watch had “the kind of classic elegance that can easily go from day to night, casual to formal.”
In that same interview, she explained that watches weren’t always a big part of her life. After she got married, her brother-in-law gave her a watch that his own father had passed down to him, a gesture she said changed her perspective and sparked her growing love for timepieces.

That sentimental streak fits Longines’ own long history. The watchmaker was founded in Saint-Imier in 1832, and its revamped Master Collection now includes a first-ever monopusher chronograph, a moonphase chronograph, and updated 3-hand models ranging from 30mm to 41mm.
Lawrence’s fashion moments come alongside a thriving career behind and in front of the camera. In 2018, she founded the production company Excellent Cadaver with producing partner Justine Ciarrocchi, and its slate includes ‘Causeway’, ‘No Hard Feelings’, and ‘Die My Love’.

‘Die My Love’ premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and earned Lawrence a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama. Excellent Cadaver’s documentary ‘Bread and Roses’ also picked up a Peabody Award.
Next up, the company will produce ‘What Happens at Night’, which will see Lawrence star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. Between her film work and a partnership that keeps producing striking imagery, the actress shows no signs of slowing down.
Part of the appeal is how comfortably Lawrence slips between Hollywood glamour and a more relaxed, everyday style. Longines has leaned into that balance, praising her for bringing her unmistakable presence and authenticity to the brand.
These latest shots are a great example. There’s no elaborate set piece or dramatic gown, just clean tailoring, soft lighting, and a watch that quietly anchors every frame. It’s a simple formula, but it plays perfectly to Lawrence’s strengths.
