The series was created and written by Jason George, known for ‘Narcos’ and ‘Into the Night’, while Jorge Dorado and Liliana Torres directed. Filming took place between the Dominican Republic and Spain, including in Pamplona, in Galle’s home region of Navarra.
McAllister was thrilled with the adaptation, explaining that her story asks how far someone would go for their sibling, according to Netflix’s announcement. The streamer’s cast also includes Pedro Casablanc, Alícia Falcó, and Nüll García.
Galle’s rise has been remarkably fast. Spanish outlets described her early on as a young promise in commercial work before her breakout on Netflix, and she also appeared in Sebastián Yatra’s music video for “Tacones Rojos.”
