‘Happy Hours’ Star Katie Holmes Goes Public With Boyfriend, Who Is 8 Years Younger, in PDA-Filled Milan Appearance
Katie Holmes’ new romance with artist Jason Bard Yarmosky has been one of the sweeter celebrity storylines of the summer, and it just made its way to Milan Fashion Week. The pair were first spotted together on July 10, according to InStyle, and have steadily become more public since.
TODAY reported that the couple was seen together at a summer gala on August 7, before Holmes appeared to confirm the relationship on September 1. She shared a pair of Instagram photos wishing Yarmosky a happy birthday, calling him the best of the best, alongside a video of him blowing out candles as she hugged him.
Now the couple has taken their romance overseas. Holmes, 47, and Yarmosky, 39, attended the Tod’s show in Milan for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 women’s collection, according to Croatia’s Index.hr, which noted that the 2 weren’t shy about showing their closeness.
Photos from the event show the couple smiling and posing arm in arm against a wall of tall bamboo plants. Holmes kept things effortlessly polished in a beige trench coat layered over a white T-shirt and wide-leg cream trousers, finishing the look with a structured black tote.
Yarmosky complemented her perfectly in a soft cream crewneck sweater and black trousers. The coordinated palette of whites and beiges made the couple look right at home among the fashion crowd.
Holmes’ appearance at the show continues her ongoing connection with the Italian label. In May 2025, she attended a Tod’s cocktail party at the brand’s New York boutique, pairing a chocolate brown strapless midi dress with a white leather Tod’s mini bag, according to Harper’s Bazaar.

Interestingly, the actress has long downplayed her fashion credentials. She told Harper’s Bazaar in 2022 that she simply likes to look nice rather than thinking of herself as a fashion person. Yarmosky is an artist whose work, according to his website, centers on themes of aging, time, and memory, subjects he’s been fascinated with since childhood, as TODAY noted.
Holmes was previously married to Tom Cruise from 2006 until their divorce in 2012, and the former couple shares a daughter, Suri, 20. She has since been linked to Jamie Foxx and later dated musician Bobby Wooten III, with whom she made her red carpet debut at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival.
The romance comes during a creative stretch for the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star. Holmes recently completed a Broadway run in ‘Our Town’ alongside Jim Parsons and Zoey Deutch, and she made a cameo in Natasha Lyonne’s ‘Poker Face’.

She’s also directing the film trilogy ‘Happy Hours’, which reunites her with former co-star Joshua Jackson, according to People. Holmes described the project on Instagram as a love story featuring many people she adores, with a cast that includes Constance Wu and Mary Louise Parker.
After keeping things fairly low-key for much of the summer, Holmes and Yarmosky now seem comfortable stepping out together on the global stage. Their Milan outing suggests the relationship is only getting more serious.
