That book, the essay collection ‘My Body’, landed on the New York Times Bestseller list after its November 2021 release. She then returned to the screen in Netflix’s ‘Too Much’, created by her longtime friend Lena Dunham, playing Wendy Jones in the romantic comedy series.

Reflecting on the themes of that show, Ratajkowski opened up about getting older as a millennial. “I think millennials are in a weird position,” she told ‘CBS Mornings’, adding that her generation isn’t sure how to dress while getting older and that 35 means something different now.

Ratajkowski isn’t slowing down. Apple TV+ is developing an untitled series exploring female identity and modern motherhood, which she is writing and executive producing alongside author Stephanie Danler, with Dunham also executive producing and A24 serving as the studio.

She is attached to star in the project, which marks her screenwriting debut. Between that series, her swimwear brand, and her ever-buzzy Instagram presence, the ‘Gone Girl’ star seems determined to show she’s far more than just a pretty face, even as her selfies keep stealing the spotlight.
