Few breakout stars have had a year like Inde Navarrette, and her Gap campaign has turned into one of the most talked-about fashion moments of her rise. The actress went from horror headliner to fashion favorite in a matter of months, and fans can’t seem to get enough.

Her momentum started on the big screen. Navarrette joined Gap following the success of ‘Obsession’, which has been described as a critically acclaimed global box office phenomenon. Coming off the film’s record-breaking run, she has been widely celebrated for her turn as Nikki, a character fans have nicknamed Freaky Nikki.

The campaign itself launched weeks ago, but new images are still making the rounds; the new photos show her in a studio setting wearing a neutral jacket, matching mini skirt, white crop top, and black knee-high boots.

That outfit is one of the campaign’s signature pieces. Gap’s lineup includes brown denim and duck cloth pieces, including a mini-skirt and matching jacket worn by Navarrette. When Gap unveiled the partnership, several shots highlighted her in a striking head-to-toe neutral look that immediately caught fans’ attention.

Replies to the post showed just how much the styling landed. One fan declared the jacket a whole personality and said they were taking notes, while another joked that the studio lighting was doing some heavy lifting too.

Navarrette stars alongside musician Malcolm Todd in Gap’s Fall 2026 “Denim on Your Own” campaign, which celebrates individuality and personal style. The film puts a new spin on Robyn’s 2010 electropop song “Dancing on My Own”, with Todd performing his own interpretation of the track.

The creative team behind it is impressive. Tanu Muiño directed the campaign, with creative direction from Calvin Leung, Gap’s head of brand creative, and fashion and image by Alastair McKimm. The visuals follow the duo through white boxed-out spaces, some with mirrors like a big changing room.

The denim itself also plays a starring role. Navarrette wears the Mid Rise Straight Taper Jean, one of the season’s new styles, while Todd appears in the ’90s Loose Jean, a returning Gap favorite. The campaign celebrates the brand’s denim line, which launched back in 1969.

For the actress, the project felt personal. “I had the freedom to bring Nikki to life in ‘Obsession’, and then I’ve had the freedom now with clothes,” Navarrette told Rolling Stone when asked why the campaign felt like the right fit.

She also shared her gratitude publicly. Navarrette stopped by Gap’s Instagram comment section to thank the brand for including her. Gap, for its part, made its admiration clear. In its announcement caption, the brand noted that everyone seems obsessed with Navarrette, praising her quick wit, unbothered sense of humor, and authenticity beyond her acting.

The pairing fits a larger strategy for the retailer. Gap says the campaign continues its role as a platform for the next generation of creative voices, championing emerging artists who shape culture through music, art and self-expression.

For Navarrette, that description fits perfectly. With a box office hit behind her and a major fashion campaign still generating buzz, she’s quickly becoming one of the most in-demand young faces in entertainment.
