Paris Hilton (45) Crashes the ‘Off Campus’ Reunion With Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli at the VMAs

That’s exactly the vibe surrounding the ‘Off Campus’ stars and Paris Hilton at the VMAs, a crossover that felt like two very different corners of pop culture colliding for one sparkly snapshot. The MTV Video Music Awards have always thrived on that kind of unpredictability, and this year’s ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles was no exception.

The show itself was built to be fast and packed. Billboard noted the telecast was scheduled to run just 2 hours, about half the length of the Grammys or the Oscars, with producer Van Toffler aiming to squeeze in as many performances and presentations as possible. Snoop Dogg hosted, while Madonna opened the show and entered the night among the leading nominees alongside Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande.

Among the many candid moments captured inside the theater, one quickly caught fire online. Variety shared an image on X showing ‘Off Campus’ stars Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli posing with Paris Hilton. One reply summed up the general reaction by simply writing, “That’s hott.”

The trio made for a striking visual contrast. In the photo, Bright wears her black satin corseted dress with a layered choker, Cameli sports dark sunglasses and his denim-on-denim ensemble, and Hilton stands between them in head-to-toe silver sparkle, all set against the glowing stage lights of the theater.

Hilton’s look was one of the night’s most talked-about outfits. She wore a crystal-covered look by The Blonds with a matching choker and thigh-high boots, and one fashion site cheekily noted it felt like early 2000s VMAs, but perfect nonetheless. Other reports described it as a silver crystal mini dress paired with thigh-high cutout boots and rhinestone gloves.

Critics had fun with it too. Rolling Stone said she looked like she had arrived from outer space in a gladiator-style silver outfit and blunt bob, joking that there was only one thing to say about it: That’s hot. Another outlet called her “Space Barbie” personified in a silver cowl-neck dress with matching thigh-high boots.

Hilton didn’t come alone either. She arrived with sister Nicky Hilton, and both were on hand as she took on presenting duties, joining a lineup that also included Chuck D, Emma Bunton and Orville Peck.

The metallic moment fits a clear pattern for Hilton at this event. She wore a glittering ripped silver dress to the VMAs in 2024, and back in 2022 she also chose silver, opting for a shorter dress covered in spikes, mirrors and crystals. Last year, she presented alongside Nicky in a fiery minidress from The Blonds.

For Bright and Cameli, the night was a well-deserved celebration. The pair star in Prime Video’s hit hockey romance, based on Elle Kennedy’s book series, and spent the summer filming Season 2. The show follows music student Hannah Wells, played by Bright, and her love interest Garrett Graham, played by Cameli.

They also had their own moment on stage, introducing rising pop singer Sienna Spiro’s performance. The crowd cheered so loudly that Bright had to briefly pause, proof of just how passionate the fandom has become.

There’s something fitting about the pairing. Hilton represents the maximalist, glamorous spirit of classic VMAs red carpets, while Bright and Cameli are among the newest faces fans have rallied around.
