‘Dune’ Star Anya Taylor-Joy Turns a Paris Staircase Into a Runway at Tiffany’s Star-Studded Schlumberger Dinner
Paris Fashion Week has barely begun, and Tiffany & Co. has already delivered one of its most glamorous nights, with Anya Taylor-Joy at the Tiffany & M.A.D. Dinner among the evening’s standout guests. The exclusive event took place at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs on Monday night, kicking off a week of womenswear shows for the upcoming spring and summer season.
The dinner wasn’t just a party. On September 28, Tiffany marked a new 4-year partnership with the Paris museum that will see its Jean Schlumberger archive of 10,000 items, including 5,000 drawings, restored and digitized for researchers and fans alike.
That brings us to the photos now making the rounds online. Snapped by Pierrick Rocher for BFA and shared by many outlets, the images show the actress posing against a stone staircase lit with warm amber light, wearing a strapless gunmetal satin gown with a sheer lace lower half.
Her long platinum waves fall loose over her shoulders, and she keeps the jewelry delicate, with a fine necklace and a sparkling bracelet catching the light. The post has made the rounds on social media, and it’s easy to see why fans can’t stop sharing it.
Taylor-Joy isn’t just a guest at these events; she’s a Tiffany & Co. ambassador. The jeweler previously cast her in a high jewelry campaign built around Schlumberger by Tiffany & Co. pieces, including icons like Bird on a Rock, so the night’s theme had a personal connection for her.
That relationship has grown even closer since then. At the brand’s 2025 holiday party in New York, she lit up the large Bird on a Rock sculpture perched atop the Landmark flagship, a piece inspired by a design Schlumberger created for Bunny Mellon in 1965. She also fronted the house’s holiday campaign, ‘Love Is a Gift’, which featured pieces from collections including Lock, HardWear, Knot and Bird on a Rock.

Paris has been a lucky city for her Tiffany looks too. At the brand’s Titan by Pharrell Williams celebration at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, she wore an illusion lace Nina Ricci mini dress, and Marie Claire tallied her Tiffany jewelry that night at $45,200, comparing the look to Audrey Hepburn.
Taylor-Joy was in excellent company. Fellow ambassador Greta Lee attended alongside Amanda Seyfried and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, while Cynthia Erivo paired a Khaite look with subtle Tiffany jewels.

Diane Kruger and Adria Arjona rounded out the lineup, with the stars posing together in front of a backdrop featuring Schlumberger’s famous self-description as merely a pencil, a nod to how modestly he viewed his own talent. Many of these women are familiar faces at Tiffany events, having appeared at earlier Blue Book launches and red carpet campaigns over the years.
What made this evening unusual was its focus. Rather than launching new products, the night centered on Schlumberger’s archive, which signals a shift toward storytelling and shows how seriously Tiffany is investing in its design heritage.
The designer’s influence on the brand is hard to overstate. Tiffany hired Schlumberger in 1956 under then-president Walter Hoving, giving him access to exceptional colored gemstones and the freedom to chase ambitious ideas.

The newly launched archive project will preserve roughly 5,000 original sketches and 5,000 historic documents that have rarely been seen by the public. To celebrate, Tiffany staged a private presentation combining the museum’s holdings, its own archives, and pieces from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, which holds about 160 pieces of Schlumberger jewelry and hundreds of his drawings.
With her ties to the designer’s most famous creations, it’s fitting that Taylor-Joy was front and center for a night dedicated to his legacy. Between the museum setting, the golden staircase, and her silvery gown, the evening felt like a perfect meeting of old-world elegance and modern star power.
