‘Hunger Games’ Star Jennifer Lawrence Turns Dior’s Paris Front Row Into a Soft Blue Dream
Some celebrity-brand partnerships feel like a marketing arrangement, and others feel like a genuine creative friendship. Jennifer Lawrence’s long run with Dior falls firmly in the second camp, which is why her Dior look is always one of the most anticipated arrivals of any Paris Fashion Week.
This season was no exception. The fashion crowd descended on the French capital for Spring/Summer 2027, with Dior’s show on September 29 marked as one of the biggest days on the calendar.
Ahead of the show, Jonathan Anderson teased guests with an unusual invitation: 2 knobbly wénwán walnuts in a custom box, a nod to the Chinese tradition of rolling walnuts in the hand until they develop a smooth patina. Against that offbeat backdrop, Lawrence chose a gentler, more romantic route
Lawrence attended the Dior Summer 2027 women’s show in a pale blue silk maxi dress with lace detailing, according to coverage of the arrivals. Marie Claire described it as a cool blue nightgown-style dress, which captures the effortless, half-undone spirit of the silhouette.
The photos shared by Film Updates show the satin fabric catching the light, with a delicate lace-trimmed neckline and a draped, gathered hem. She kept the styling simple with rectangular black sunglasses, strappy heels, and a small pale handbag. Her dark blonde hair fell in loose, beachy waves, framed by wispy bangs.

The front row was packed. Miranda Kerr and Anya Taylor-Joy also headlined the arrivals, and Marie Claire noted that Greta Lee wore pink capri pants while Rosalía chose an asymmetrical black gown.
Amid all that variety, Lawrence’s pastel palette read as quietly confident. It was the kind of look that didn’t need to shout, which fits the way she has approached Anderson’s Dior over the past year.
Lawrence has been a Dior ambassador since 2012, and she became the face of the Joy by Dior perfume in 2018. Under Anderson, the relationship has only deepened, and she has worn his designs to a string of events, including the ‘Die, My Love’ premiere in New York.

Her front-row history with the designer has been playful and unpredictable. At Anderson’s debut womenswear show last October, she went head-to-toe Dior in a blue button-down and navy vest, carrying a burgundy kiss-lock clutch. Back in January, she defied couture week dress codes with a tank top, jeans, and a fur-trimmed coat from the Dior Men Fall 2026 show.
Even her footwear has been a running story. Marie Claire noted she was among the first to wear Dior’s new bow-tied Mary Jane heels, debuting them at a ‘Die, My Love’ screening in Paris.

Set beside those earlier appearances, the slip dress feels like a deliberate shift toward softness. Where January’s outfit leaned baggy and menswear-inspired, this one embraces lace, satin, and a dreamy pastel tone that suits the romantic, slightly eccentric mood Anderson has built at the house.
