‘Stranger Things’ Star Natalia Dyer Trades Hawkins Nostalgia for Razor-Sharp Saint Laurent Tailoring in Paris
Few actors have grown up on screen quite like Natalia Dyer. She spent her 20s playing Nancy Wheeler on ‘Stranger Things’, and now that the Netflix hit has wrapped, she is steadily shaping a post-Hawkins identity. Fashion has become one of the clearest windows into where she is headed.
W Magazine has described her red carpet style as favoring romantic silhouettes with nostalgic twists, and she has become something of a regular at fashion weeks around the globe. That reputation has only grown since the show ended, and Paris has been a favorite stop along the way.
On September 29, Natalia Dyer attended Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear show in Paris, and many outlets shared photos of her on X the next morning. In the images, she poses in front of the label’s glowing logo wearing a black blazer dress with satin lapels, sheer black tights, and black heels, with gold bracelets and her hair swept back.
The look was pure Saint Laurent, sharp shoulders and clean lines with a slight sheen. Coverage of the show noted that guests embraced the house’s dark, sleek aesthetic, and Dyer’s tuxedo-style minidress fit right in. It is a far cry from her earlier boho and sequined moments, showing a more polished side of her style.
The show itself carried extra weight. Saint Laurent staged the collection at the Fontaine du Trocadéro beneath the Eiffel Tower, marking Anthony Vaccarello’s 10th anniversary as artistic director. He has led the house, founded by Yves Saint Laurent in 1961, since 2016.

The guest list was enormous. Complex reported that Post Malone, Rosé, Rami Malek, Zoë Kravitz, Kate Moss, and Donatella Versace led the crowd, alongside Zoë Saldaña, Eddie Redmayne, Mark Ronson, Carla Bruni, Catherine Deneuve, and Laura Harrier. Paris Fashion Week continues through October 6, closing out the international fashion month circuit.
This is hardly her first time in a Saint Laurent seat. Dyer attended the brand’s Eiffel Tower show in 2022 alongside Rosé and Hailey Bieber, then returned for the February and September 2023 presentations. She also sat front row in March 2025 with her longtime partner and ‘Stranger Things’ co-star Charlie Heaton.

V Magazine once followed her behind the scenes at a Saint Laurent show, describing her as someone blending a passion for cinema with fashion as a form of self-expression. That mix has only sharpened since. Each return to the house shows a steady evolution rather than a sudden reinvention.
Dyer’s career is moving just as deliberately. ‘Stranger Things’ wrapped its three-part final season on New Year’s Eve 2025, and she soon signed with CAA for representation. Her first post-show project is ‘Goodbye Girl’, an Amazon MGM romantic comedy that began shooting in New Orleans on February 2.
The film stars Kiernan Shipka as a professional heartbreaker hired to dump a groom, played by Cole Sprouse, only to fall for him. Oran Zegman directs, with Dyer’s character details kept under wraps at the time of the announcement. It marks her first film role since 2023’s horror movie ‘All Fun and Games’, according to Yahoo.

Her earlier credits include ‘Yes, God, Yes’, ‘Things Heard & Seen’, and ‘Velvet Buzzsaw’, while she was also part of the SAG Award-winning ‘Stranger Things’ ensemble. That range gives her plenty of room to maneuver as she chooses what comes next.
