‘Baywatch’ Star Livvy Dunne Shares More Sun-Soaked Snaps From Her Bahamas Birthday Getaway

For Livvy Dunne, birthdays have become something of a social media tradition. Every October 1, fans have come to expect a fresh round of celebratory posts from the former LSU gymnast, and this year was no different.

The New Jersey native turned 24 last Thursday, and she marked the milestone with a tropical escape. Dunne flew to the Bahamas on a private flight, where she was joined by her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, for what she described on her Instagram Stories as a birthday bender.

Days later, the celebration is still going strong online. On October 6, Dunne shared a new set of photos on Instagram from the trip, giving fans another look at her sunny getaway, including one image labeled as her best birthday trip.

The new snaps capture the relaxed vibe of the vacation. In one, Dunne stands on a sandy beach at dusk, surrounded by palm trees and colorful kayaks, flashing a peace sign as she smiles back at the camera in a red swimsuit.

Another photo is a close-up selfie that shows off her natural freckles. She gazes upward with a playful expression, wearing a light blue swimsuit and a delicate necklace. The latest post quickly caught fans’ attention. It follows her original birthday carousel, which set the tone for the entire trip.

That first post, shared on her birthday, featured poolside photos with crystal-clear ocean views. Dunne wore a light blue bikini with a silver “Birthday Girl” tiara, sipped a cocktail, and posed with pink inflatable balloons shaped like the number 24.

She also poked fun at herself in the caption, joking that she was washed up at 24. The comment was a playful nod to her years as an elite gymnast before her retirement from the sport. Skenes appeared in the photos too, holding Dunne by the pool as if about to toss her in. He shared his own tribute as well, posting 4 photos of her with a sweet birthday message.

Dunne’s famous friends were quick to send their love. Haley Cavinder, who is married to Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, wished her a happy birthday, while Olivia Ponton, girlfriend of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, also chimed in with a glowing message.

The timing worked out for the couple. The Pirates finished their season without a postseason berth, leaving Skenes free to travel. Dunne’s life has changed dramatically over the past year and a half. She joined the LSU Tigers gymnastics team in 2020, became the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media by February 2023, and announced her retirement from gymnastics on April 17, 2025.

Now she’s stepping into acting. Dunne was cast in a recurring role as Grace in Fox’s ‘Baywatch’ reboot, marking her professional acting debut, with the series set to premiere in January.
