Few songs have taken over TikTok this fall quite like ADÉLA’s “Nicole Kidman.” The Slovak pop star released the track’s music video on September 4 alongside her debut album, ‘Prima’, and the song quickly inspired a viral trend paying tribute to the Oscar-winning actress.

The song’s video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, is packed with nods to Kidman’s career, referencing ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, ‘Moulin Rouge!’, ‘Birth’ and ‘Babygirl’, along with her famous AMC commercial. ADÉLA has said the idea came after attending a Golden Globes event, where she felt so glamorous that she compared herself to Kidman, later watching ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ and becoming obsessed with the star.

Now the trend has reached its ultimate full-circle moment. At Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Dua Lipa and Nicole Kidman herself were filmed taking part in a video to the hit single, and the clip has since racked up more than a million views online.

The front-row clip has an easy, playful energy. It opens on a smiling guest in a strapless black top with white trim and Chanel’s interlocking logo, singing along before the camera pans across the group.

Fans online agreed that the reveal was the highlight. One commenter said panning to reveal Kidman was the best part, while another begged for the actress to appear in the song’s official music video.

The show took place on October 5 at the Grand Palais, where Pascal, Lipa, Kidman and Alexa Demie shared a relaxed moment in the front row. Between conversations and music, the group jumped into the “Nicole Kidman” trend, with the woman who inspired the song joining in.

That wasn’t the group’s only viral moment of the night. Footage captured by Variety showed Pascal and Lipa chatting while Kidman grooved to Britney Spears’ “Gimme More.” Another video circulating on TikTok showed Lipa, Pascal, Demie and Kidman singing “Take on Me” together. Some fashion fans even declared it the best front row of the season.

Kidman’s participation shouldn’t come as a total surprise. At the London premiere of ‘Practical Magic 2’ on August 26, a fan asked whether she knew ADÉLA, and after a moment, she said she did and even mentioned plans to see her in concert.

ADÉLA’s reaction was pure delight. According to a fan account on Instagram, the singer commented on the video with an ecstatic, all-caps message of disbelief. Seeing Kidman actually sing along to a song named after her takes that connection to a whole new level. For an emerging artist, it’s the kind of celebrity co-sign that can supercharge a song’s momentum.

“Nicole Kidman” appears on ‘Prima’, which follows her debut EP, ‘The Provocateur’. ADÉLA previously said she wanted her album to give her the chance to build a world, after the EP showed audiences she was a strong performer.

Judging by the reaction to the Chanel clip, that world is expanding fast. With some of Hollywood’s biggest stars joining in, “Nicole Kidman” has officially gone from TikTok trend to pop culture moment.

Should Nicole Kidman make a cameo in an ADÉLA music video after joining the “Nicole Kidman” trend at Chanel?
