The three earlier installments are “Wherefore Art Thou,” “Ready or Not” and “I Know What I Want.” The third season runs for 22 episodes, which leaves the writers plenty of room to build out the season’s storylines.

Fox ordered the full season for the 2026 to 2027 broadcast year after the show averaged 7.3 million multiplatform viewers. That audience gave the network a clear reason to keep the weekly run intact.

Air Time on Fox

New episodes of ‘Doc’ air on Tuesdays from 9 to 10 p.m. ET and PT on Fox. The third season premiere followed the same 9 p.m. slot.

The show follows the premiere of ‘Best Medicine’ in the Tuesday lineup, so the two medical dramas now play back to back. That pairing gives Fox a full evening built around hospital storytelling.

The second season closed on April 14, 2026, and Fox confirmed the return for fall. The current weekly rollout picks up where that finale left off.

Where to Watch Online

Each new episode streams on Hulu the day after it airs on Fox. That makes Hulu the most direct option for anyone who misses the Tuesday broadcast.

Rotten Tomatoes lists the third season as available with a subscription on Disney+ or Hulu, or for purchase through Fandango. Viewers can pick whichever service fits the subscriptions they already hold.

Viewers catching up can find the first season on Netflix, and the second season was set to arrive there on the day of the third season premiere. Fox’s own president pointed to momentum across Fox, Hulu, Netflix and international markets when announcing the renewal.

Preview of ‘Great Expectations’

In the fourth episode, Amy and Ben go toe to toe when their cancer patient demands the impossible. The case sets up a direct clash between two doctors who already share a complicated history.
