More than a decade after the Barden Bellas first hit the big screen, ‘Pitch Perfect’ still holds a special place in fans’ hearts. The franchise began in 2012 with Jason Moore’s original film, followed by Elizabeth Banks’ ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ in 2015 and Trish Sie’s ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ in 2017.

At the center of it all were Anna Kendrick as Beca Mitchell and Brittany Snow as Chloe Beale. Their on-screen friendship became so beloved that fans gave the pair their own ship name, “Bechloe.”

The cast has reunited in different ways over the years. In 2020, Kendrick, Snow, Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Hailee Steinfeld, and others came together virtually to perform ‘Love on Top’, with proceeds benefiting UNICEF.

Fans have been hoping for something bigger ever since. Snow, now starring in Netflix’s ‘The Hunting Wives’, told Variety in its crossword video series that she hopes a fourth film happens, though she has admitted elsewhere that she knows nothing about where a sequel stands.

On October 17, fans finally got a sweet Bellas moment. Kendrick and Snow reunited on the carpet at the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, with Just Jared and Variety both sharing videos of the pair posing side by side.

The reunion quickly became one of the night’s buzziest moments online. The Zoe Report highlighted the duo’s cute exchange on the carpet as one of the evening’s standout pairings, alongside sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning.

The two stars brought complementary styles to the evening. Snow wore a slinky red sequin dress from Max Mara’s Resort 2027 collection, styled without the oversized coat it came with on the runway.

Kendrick went for drama in a plunging black lace peplum gown from Georges Chakra’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection. She paired the sculptural look with a polished updo and statement earrings, while Snow wore her hair long and loose with a delicate pendant necklace.

Together, the contrasting red and black looks made for a perfectly balanced photo op. Their easy chemistry on the carpet reminded fans exactly why their on-screen partnership worked so well.

The question on many minds remains whether the Bellas will ever sing together again on screen. Despite years of reports and speculation, there has been no official studio confirmation of a fourth film.

Rebel Wilson has previously stirred excitement with hints about a possible sequel, even suggesting it could feature a wedding storyline. Snow, meanwhile, has noted that she and Kendrick were surprised by how strongly audiences embraced the Bechloe dynamic after the first film.

The franchise’s commercial success keeps hope alive. ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ earned more than $185 million worldwide, proving the a cappella comedy still had a devoted audience. The gala raises funds for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and honored Charlize Theron, Colman Domingo and John Carpenter this year, with Taylor Swift set to perform.

Kendrick and Snow joined a guest list that included Mia Goth, Pamela Anderson, Cailee Spaeny and Naomi Ackie. Both actresses have stayed busy beyond the franchise. Kendrick made her directorial debut with ‘Woman of the Hour’, while Snow has continued building an impressive run in television.

Whether or not a fourth film ever materializes, this glamorous reunion proved the Bellas’ bond is still going strong. For fans, it was a small but satisfying encore.
