Marvel’s marketing machine for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has settled into a steady rhythm, with new art, posters and brand partnerships arriving in waves. Earlier promos teased unexpected duos like Gambit and Yelena Belova, while recent art grouped Doctor Doom with Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, Letitia Wright’s Black Panther and Florence Pugh’s Yelena.

This time, though, the studio took a decidedly more relatable approach. Instead of showing heroes in battle, the latest promo opens a window into a much quieter corner of the MCU: the front desk.

The new video is an advertisement from the deodorant brand Secret, promoting its Clinical line as part of the film’s wave of corporate tie-ins. As with other Marvel Studios releases, ‘Doomsday’ is partnering with popular brands to spread the word that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are returning.

Cosmic Marvel shared the 30-second clip on October 19 as a “new promo for ‘Avengers: Doomsday'” featuring the New Avengers Tower. The video quickly circulated among fans tracking every piece of marketing ahead of the December 18 release.

The ad borrows the popular “get ready with me” format from social media. On-screen text reads “GRWM for work: Avengers Tower Edition” as a smiling receptionist, dressed in a rust-colored blazer over a blue collared shirt, records herself while preparing for the day.

According to ComingSoon.net, the commercial follows a front desk associate trying to manage a busy day, fielding calls, signing for packages for Yelena Belova and company, and handling workplace problems. When asked about the Hulk, her answer plays as though the Jade Giant has simply left his job.

The humor lands on the product at the end. When the receptionist stays calm under pressure, she calls the deodorant her “secret weapon,” tying the workday chaos to the brand’s message.

The ad also contains a nugget that has Marvel fans talking. The Direct noted that it includes the first mention of a Guardians of the Galaxy character in ‘Doomsday’ marketing, a notable detail since the team is one of the film’s biggest omissions.

According to that report, heavy hitters like Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel also appear poised to sit this one out and wait for ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. The promo suggests Marvel hasn’t forgotten the Guardians, hinting that they remain relevant despite their absence.

The promo also lines up with a real-world product. LEGO’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ New Avengers Tower is a 954-piece, 4-level set featuring minifigures of Doctor Doom, Yelena, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, Human Torch and Sentry.

The set includes a soda bar, landing pad, hidden detention cell, control room, and reception area, matching the world glimpsed in the ad. It also hides Easter eggs like Black Panther’s claw and Thor’s weapons.

The Secret ad joins a growing list of promotional pieces. Marvel Studios recently released a “Silence Your Phones” theater PSA featuring cast members like Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, Anthony Mackie’s Captain America, and Channing Tatum’s Gambit.

Meanwhile, the film’s presales continue to impress, and Regal is offering a free ‘Magic: The Gathering’ card to Rewards members who see the film in Infinity Vision during opening weekend. Collectible 3D glasses featuring 5 mystery logos will be handed out at a special December 20 screening.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will see the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, New Avengers and X-Men team up to face Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. It opens in theaters on December 18, with ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ following on December 17, 2027. With the Tower now open for business, fans are getting a funny glimpse of everyday life behind the Avengers’ headquarters before the multiverse comes crashing in.
