Doctor Doom Goes Chibi: Beast Kingdom’s Mini Figure Gives ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Fans a Tiny Taste of Marvel’s Biggest Villain
Marvel Studios has kept most of Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom under wraps, and toy shelves have become one of the main places fans are getting their clues. Since the villain’s armor has been shown mostly through promo art and collectibles, every new figure feels like a mini trailer.
That’s part of why even a small, cute collectible can spark so much conversation. Merchandise has been unusually revealing this season, from a Hot Toys figure showing Doom in multiple looks to the first promo art of the character displayed at a Disney marketing expo in Shanghai.
On October 19, Avengers Updates shared a first look at Beast Kingdom’s mini Doctor Doom figure for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. The images show the character hooded and cloaked in deep green against a misty, spotlit background, with an artwork card that reads “Doctor Doom” along the bottom.
The figure appears to be part of Beast Kingdom’s Egg Attack Action line, specifically the EAA-175 release, which presents Doom in a stylized chibi design. His oversized silver mask sits beneath a dark green hood, with glowing green eyes, rivet details across the face, and a detailed armored suit.

According to retailer listings, the toy features approximately 15 points of articulation so fans can pose Doom in commanding or battle-ready stances. It also comes with 3 pairs of interchangeable hands, including fists, gripping hands, and open hands.
Standing at roughly 4.8 inches tall, the collectible is made of PVC and ABS plastic and is officially licensed by Marvel Studios. Pre-orders opened in August at $47.99, with an estimated arrival in January 2027, though some retailers have already listed it as sold out.
The figure also echoes the look pieced together by other products. Comics Beat noted that the apparent design, credited to veteran MCU costumer Judianna Makovsky, is darker than the green robes Doom wore in his cameo during the mid-credits scene of ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’.

Notable changes from his classic comic look include chainmail, a visible lamellar breastplate, and symbols on the cloak clasps. The outlet suggested those clasp symbols likely represent Doom’s mastery of science and magic.
More recent leaks suggest Doom won’t stick to a single look. A Hot Toys Victor von Doom figure reveals a second costume that resembles formal traveling wear, matching the outfit seen in Downey’s post-credits appearance in ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’, according to IGN.

TBreak noted that the figure confirms Doom will appear in at least 2 distinct looks, though it doesn’t establish when either appears in the film. A separate toy leak also appeared to show Thor in a thunder helmet.
Behind the scenes, Downey’s commitment to the role has been well documented. Co-director Joe Russo previously described the actor’s process of developing the character as very intense, saying Downey contributed to the character’s backstory and offered costume and styling ideas.
The same ensemble includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Florence Pugh and Pedro Pascal. The film also brings the Avengers, Fantastic Four, New Avengers, Wakandans and X-Men together against Downey’s villain.

The Beast Kingdom release is just one piece of a growing wave. Entertainment Earth lists several other Doomsday Doom collectibles, including a Bandai S.H.Figuarts version, a 6-inch Marvel Legends release and a mini-figure blind box set from Beast Kingdom’s own Mini Egg Attack line.
There’s also a LEGO New Avengers Tower, Iron Studios statues, and Regal promotions tied to opening weekend. With ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ arriving on December 18, the toy aisle is doing a lot of the early storytelling.
