Life at the Front Desk of the New Avengers Tower Is Chaos in Hilarious ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Promo
Marvel’s most famous skyscraper has gone through quite the identity crisis, and the New Avengers Tower in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is the latest chapter in that story. In ‘Thunderbolts*’, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, bought the old Avengers Tower and renamed it the Watchtower, turning it into the headquarters for her freshly branded New Avengers.
That post-credits reveal also set up a messy rivalry. The scene showed the team lounging in the refurbished tower while grumbling that Sam Wilson’s Captain America had filed a trademark on the Avengers name, a moment that was actually directed by the Russo brothers on the set of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.
Now, a new promo shared by fans on X takes fans straight to the building’s lobby for a very different kind of action. The roughly 30-second clip follows a receptionist in a “Get Ready With Me” style video, with on-screen text billing it as a workday prep session from Avengers Tower.
Dressed in a rust-colored blazer over a blue collared shirt, the smiling employee records herself getting ready for the day before settling in behind the curved front desk. Rather than spotlighting heroes in battle, the spot opens a window into a quieter corner of the MCU.

The humor comes from just how ordinary the job looks. Near the end, the receptionist fields a call from someone who needs help spelling Groot’s name, presumably hoping to reach the tree-like hero.
This isn’t the first time Marvel has used the tower’s front desk for laughs. Earlier this month, a Secret Clinical deodorant ad also followed a receptionist juggling calls, answering the phone with a cheerful offer to direct the caller.
That spot had its own memorable gag. When one call got confusing, she informed the caller that “the Hulk doesn’t work here anymore,” before crediting the deodorant as her secret weapon for staying fresh under pressure.

The marketing approach is a refreshing change of pace. With the multiverse about to collide, these promos swap capes for collared shirts, treating the tower as a real workplace full of phones, packages, and one very patient employee.
Fans who want their own slice of the headquarters have options too. LEGO’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ New Avengers Tower set features 954 pieces across 4 levels and includes Doctor Doom, Yelena, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, Human Torch, and Sentry minifigures.

The set leans into the same everyday details as the promo. Its ground floor features a reception area, security gate, and a trash can hiding Easter eggs like Black Panther’s claw and Thor’s Stormbreaker and Mjölnir, while upper floors include a control room, a laboratory, a landing pad, and a concealed detention cell.
It also has a playful nod to one resident. One level includes Sentry’s bean bag and milkshake, and the set retails for $109.99. The tower’s residents are set for a major role in December. In the film, the Avengers, Wakandans, New Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men converge from different universes to face Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom amid the collapse of the multiverse.

The Thunderbolts post-credits scene even teased a cosmic visitor, with the Fantastic Four apparently headed toward the New Avengers’ base. Whether the lobby survives that encounter remains to be seen. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ arrives in theaters on December 18, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.
Which Avenger do you think would give the New Avengers Tower receptionist the biggest headache?
