New ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Team Cards Line Up Every Squad Ahead of Marvel’s Biggest Crossover
Marvel’s marketing machine has been working overtime, and the latest ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ team cards show just how much the studio wants fans to think in terms of squads. The film brings together the Avengers, the Wakandans, the Fantastic Four, the New Avengers, and the X-Men against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, and the promotional material keeps finding fresh ways to put those groups side by side.
That team-first approach has been everywhere lately. On October 6, a promo built around the words Assemble, Unite, and Family paired each term with a team logo, rendering “Family” as “F4mily” with the Fantastic Four’s emblem standing in for the letter A.
Now, a new look at a set of team promotional cards has surfaced, shared by Avengers Updates on X. The design gives the Avengers, the New Avengers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four their own individual card, each stamped with its team logo and packed with character renders against a gritty white backdrop.
The X-Men card features the legacy mutants, including Professor X in his wheelchair, while the Fantastic Four card shows the First Family posed together with the Human Torch blazing above them. The Avengers and New Avengers cards fill the middle of the lineup with Marvel’s current crop of heroes.

The image also carries Italian-language text advertising a bonus limited edition card, noting that it rotates between the different designs. That suggests the cards are part of a European promotion, though the full details of the offer haven’t been widely reported.
The cards arrive as merchandise for the film ramps up worldwide. Panini’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Sticker & Trading Card Collection Mega Box includes 10 packs, 5 acrylic figures, a limited edition card, and an XXL limited edition card, with Italian retailers listing it for November 30.

Other collectibles have leaned into the same multi-team theme. Funko’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ bundle includes Doctor Doom, Thor, Yelena Belova, Mister Fantastic, Magneto, and Cyclops, while Beast Kingdom’s blind box series features Thor, Mister Fantastic, Cyclops, Bucky Barnes, Gambit, and Doctor Doom, with Magneto as a secret edition.
The character renders on these cards have become a familiar sight. Many have already appeared across the film’s marketing, with more expected on merchandise in the months ahead.
Part of the excitement around these renders is how faithful the costumes look. Early promotional art revealed classic X-Men designs, with Cyclops in his blue-and-yellow outfit and red visor, Beast in full fur, Nightcrawler in his traditional uniform, and Mystique in her white costume.

The Fantastic Four also sport new suits, while Thor returns to the shorter hair fans remember from ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. These details make the team cards feel like a snapshot of the film’s sprawling ensemble.
The roster behind those cards is enormous. Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, and Paul Rudd lead the heroes, joined by Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn from the Fantastic Four.

The X-Men side is just as stacked. Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, and Channing Tatum all return to their mutant roles.
The Russo brothers direct from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely, and ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ hits theaters on December 18, 2026. With the film arriving 7 years after ‘Avengers: Endgame’, fans clearly have plenty of ways to pick a side before the multiverse collides.
