Fans of ‘Marshals’ will have to wait a little longer for the next chapter of the CBS series. CBS is interrupting the show’s regular Sunday schedule on November 8 for a special presentation of its new legal drama ‘Cupertino’, which pushes the next installment back by a week. The series returns on Sunday, November 15, with an episode titled “Roughstock.”

The shift matters because earlier schedules pointed to a different date. TheWrap’s original rundown of the new season listed November 8 for this episode, but TV Insider also reports that ‘Marshals’ goes on break that week. Here is the most current picture of when the episode arrives, how to watch it and what the story sets up for Kayce Dutton and the team.

‘Marshals’ Release Date and the One Week Break

‘Marshals’ airs weekly on Sunday nights on CBS, and the pause on November 8 creates an unusual gap. Viewers have to wait two weeks between the fifth episode, “Secret Weapon,” and the next one. That fifth episode lands on November 1, which makes the return on November 15 the next date to mark.

The weeks that follow are also taking shape. Forbes lists the seventh episode, “Under the Influence,” for November 22 and the eighth, “Bad Medicine,” for November 29. Those dates currently sit alongside advice to check local listings, so they could still move.

There is also a longer horizon to keep in mind. Dates for the back half of the season have not been announced, and those episodes are expected to arrive in 2027. For now, the November 15 return is the only firm date for the next new episode.

What Time ‘Marshals’ Airs on CBS

The next new episode is listed for 8 p.m. ET and PT on CBS on Sunday, November 15. The hour includes commercials, so viewers should plan around the full time slot. Anyone in the Central or Mountain time zones should adjust accordingly or check their local CBS station.

Start times have not been steady this fall. The season premiere began at half past eight Eastern, the following week returned to the usual eight o’clock slot, and the third episode moved to the later start again. CBS has been adjusting its Sunday lineup around NFL football, which explains much of the movement.

That uncertainty is the reason to confirm times in advance. Local schedules can vary, especially when earlier football broadcasts run long. A quick look at regional listings before Sunday evening is the safest way to avoid missing the opening scenes.

Where to Watch ‘Marshals’ on CBS and Paramount+

The simplest option is a standard broadcast. ‘Marshals’ airs on CBS on Sunday nights and streams on Paramount+ the following day. What counts as the following day depends on the subscription plan, so it helps to know which tier is in use.

Paramount+ Premium subscribers can watch live with their local CBS affiliate on Sunday and on demand afterward, while Essential subscribers get the episode on Monday. For this episode, that puts the Essential release on November 16. CBS has not provided a specific overnight release time for Essential subscribers, so the exact hour the episode appears may vary.

Viewers outside the United States have their own timing. Reelgood reports that the premiere reached the UK on Paramount+ on October 5, and it arrived in Canada on the same date. That is one day after the American broadcast, a pattern worth checking against regional listings for later episodes.

‘Roughstock’ Preview and What to Expect

The synopsis points to a shift in focus for ‘Marshals’. With Cal away in Utah to see a cancer specialist, Andrea steps up as team leader and is tested immediately. The test comes when Kayce ventures outside Marshals jurisdiction to help Mo track down his missing nephew.

The personal storylines carry weight as well. Belle accompanies Cal on his trip to Salt Lake City without the rest of the team knowing, as the two continue growing closer. Miles Kittle has also been keeping crucial information about Cal’s condition from Maddie, which adds tension around the group.

The episode looks like a change of pace from the explosive bomber investigation of the previous two episodes, with more attention on relationships and friction inside the team. The cast includes Luke Grimes, Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos and Tatanka Means, alongside Mo Brings Plenty.

The stakes extend beyond the story. The first season averaged 19.3 million viewers across 35 days of multiplatform viewing, and the new season has drawn 8.2 million same day viewers. A third season has not been announced. With Andrea suddenly in charge and Kayce heading beyond his jurisdiction again, do you think she can keep the team steady while he chases another unauthorized lead for Mo?
