‘Best Medicine’ Season 2 Episode 7 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch & Preview

Share:

The seventh episode of ‘Best Medicine’ second season arrives on Tuesday, Nov 10, under the title “Love Is a Battlefield.” Rotten Tomatoes lists the episode as airing Nov 10, one week after episode six, “Can’t Stop the Healing,” which airs Nov 3. Fox’s medical comedy drama keeps its weekly Tuesday rhythm through the middle of the run.

This guide covers the release date and air time, the broadcast and streaming options, and what the official synopsis reveals about the episode. The second season has 14 episodes in total, one more hour than the first season gave viewers. That makes the seventh episode a useful checkpoint for where Martin and the residents of Port Wenn currently stand.

Release Date and Air Time

Rotten Tomatoes places the seventh episode on Nov 10 and gives its synopsis alongside the title “Love Is a Battlefield.” TV Guide’s episode guide lists the preceding installment, “Can’t Stop the Healing,” on Tuesday, Nov 3, 2026, and shows “Love Is a Battlefield” as the next entry. Together the two listings confirm a straightforward one week gap.

TheWrap reports that new episodes air weekly on Tuesdays from 8 to 9 p.m. ET/PT. TV Insider’s series page lists the show at 8/7c on Tuesdays on Fox. Viewers in the Central time zone should therefore tune in at 7 p.m. local time.

The second season was first renewed with a 12 episode order, and Fox later raised it to 14 during Upfronts. The extra hours give the writers more room for the town’s side stories alongside Martin’s medical cases. The seventh episode sits right at the halfway point of that expanded order.

Where to Watch the Seventh Episode

The primary way to watch is the live Fox broadcast on Tuesday night. Reelgood notes that episodes are also available to stream on Hulu following their Fox broadcast. Anyone who misses the original airing can catch up on the platform the next day.

Viewers outside the United States have their own options. In Canada the series airs on CTV, with episodes available on Crave after the broadcast. In the UK, the first season streams on Sky and NOW, and the second season is expected to follow there after its Fox broadcast in the US.

Netflix remains a longer term option rather than a current one. The first season finale aired on Fox on April 7, 2026, and the full season arrived on Netflix on August 4, 2026. Applying that same four month gap, What’s on Netflix projects that the second season will reach the service around April or May of next year.

Episode Preview and What to Expect

The official synopsis centers on a town tradition. During the Port Wenn Revolutionary War reenactment, some of the citizens start displaying tremors and odder than usual behavior, which leaves Martin concerned. That sets up another case where the doctor has to work out what is affecting several residents at once.

The episode also carries a personal storyline. Martin is affected by Louisa’s new relationship with Parker, according to the same synopsis. That thread builds from episode five, in which Martin gets a new male medical monitor who has an instant connection to Louisa, and continues in episode six, where Martin becomes acutely aware of the pair’s bond. Wikipedia lists Jack Cutmore-Scott as Parker, described as Louisa’s new love interest.

The show has leaned on this mix of medical puzzle and community eccentricity all season. Episode four, “No Place Like Om,” had Martin investigating the extremely strange behavior of three patients who had all visited a meditation retreat. The reenactment story looks like a similar setup, with a group of residents sharing a cause that Martin must uncover.

The wider backdrop gives those cases some weight. The first season ended with Martin’s childhood bully Glendon reporting him to the medical board, which put his career in jeopardy. The second season picks up five months later with Martin facing increased scrutiny over his medical career while his relationships with Louisa and Eden continue to develop. Josh Charles and Abigail Spencer lead the cast, joined by Annie Potts, Josh Segarra, Cree and Stephen Spinella, and Decider’s Nicole Gallucci described the season as a funny escape that is willing to turn serious. With Martin already unsettled by Parker, do you think the Revolutionary War reenactment mystery will force him to confront his feelings for Louisa, or will he bury them in the case?
