‘9-1-1: Nashville’ Season 2 Episode 5 Release Date, Time, Where to Watch and Preview

The next installment of ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ is titled “Ding-Dong-Ditch” and is listed to air on ABC on November 12. It follows the fourth episode, “In Cold Blood,” which is scheduled for this week.

The currently announced schedule is short, and another twelve episodes are slated to arrive in early 2027. Here is what the ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ release date, air time, streaming options and story setup look like for viewers planning their Thursday night.

Release Date and Remaining Schedule

Listings place “Ding-Dong-Ditch” on Thursday, November 12 on ABC. The sixth episode, “Tears of the Nile,” follows on November 19, with “A Fate Worse Than Death” listed for November 26.

The season premiered on October 15 and airs every Thursday. Six consecutive installments are currently dated between October 15 and November 19, and the exact dates for the later batch have yet to be announced.

November 19 marks the end of the announced schedule rather than a confirmed finale, and ABC has not yet published a full episode count. Some episode information comes from third party databases rather than ABC, so titles and dates beyond the episodes already broadcast remain subject to updates.

Air Time on ABC

The series airs Thursday evenings at 9 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, which is 8 p.m. Central, and the upcoming episode is expected to hold that same slot. That consistency has made the show easy to find since its return.

The hour sits in the middle of a three part Thursday block, with the tenth season of ‘9-1-1’ at 8 p.m. Eastern and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ following at 10 p.m. The placement gives the spinoff a strong lead in from the original series.

The slot has been a good one for the franchise newcomer. When ABC announced the renewal, the network noted that the show stood as the top new drama among adults 18 to 49, and the second season opened with 3.55 million viewers.

Where to Watch the Episode Online

Viewers in the United States can watch live on ABC, and live streaming services that carry local ABC stations, including Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV and Fubo, also offer the broadcast. Anyone with a local ABC affiliate on a streaming bundle should be covered.

Episodes stream on Hulu the day after they air on ABC, so the next hour should reach the platform on Friday, November 13. That is the simplest route for anyone who prefers to wait.

Outside the United States the picture varies. In Canada the show airs on CTV, new episodes stream on Crave the following day, and the season is also available on Disney+ Canada from October 16. Reelgood reports that the second season will stream on Disney+ in the United Kingdom after its ABC debut, although Tom’s Guide noted that no release date had been set there.

Preview of What Comes Next for Station 113

The guides reviewed for this piece list only the title and date for “Ding-Dong-Ditch,” so the clearest picture comes from where the season stands. The fourth episode is described as the Pharaoh targeting Dixie’s flight, a new dispatch manager arriving to lead Cammie and her team, and Rogue divulging his tragic past to Don and Ryan. Dixie also reveals a secret during a monumental performance.

The central mystery belongs to a newcomer. Ryan Phillippe plays Rogue, a former New York homicide detective who recently relocated to Nashville, and he is chasing a criminal who recreates biblical plagues across the city, beginning with the murder hornets that overran a museum in the premiere. Showrunner Rashad Raisani has said that Rogue starts to sense there is some method to the crimes.

The family drama is carrying equal weight. The series boss told TV Insider that the new season picks up three weeks after the first season finale fight between Blythe and Dixie. Sam chose to wait until her baby is born to treat herself after receiving difficult news in that finale, and Blythe has since learned her secret.

There is also friction inside the firehouse. Ryan has grown eager to help solve the case, which has left Don feeling a bit jealous. With Rogue opening up about his past, a new dispatch manager overseeing Cammie and the Pharaoh still at large, will “Ding-Dong-Ditch” turn the plague storyline toward the Hart family or give Don and Ryan a case that finally settles their rivalry, and which of those would you rather see in the comments?
