A ‘Bridgerton’ Title Is Leaving Netflix, but Fans of the Ton Can Relax
‘Bridgerton’ is one of Netflix’s biggest original hits. The Regency-era romance has released 4 seasons so far, most recently with Season 4 Part 1 in January and Part 2 in February, starring Nicola Coughlan, Luke Thompson and Florence Hunt, among others.
The franchise also includes the spin-off ‘Queen Charlotte’ and has inspired plenty of extras over the years. One of those extras is now set to leave the streaming service. What’s on Netflix playfully asked whether Netflix is removing ‘Bridgerton’, admitting the question was clickbait. The good news is that the main series isn’t going anywhere.
The title actually leaving is ‘Bridgerton: Fireplace’, a yule log-style ambient video. It is scheduled to leave Netflix in the US on November 30, which makes November 29 the last full day to watch it, although the date could still change.
The fireplace arrived in December 2024 as one of 3 themed 60-minute yule logs, alongside ‘Squid Game’ and ‘Spellbound’ versions. It shows a crackling log fire in the Bridgerton family’s living room, set to soft background music from the series.
Eagle-eyed fans can spot Easter eggs throughout. They include Lady Whistledown’s quill and a bouquet of wisteria. Netflix’s synopsis captures the mood perfectly, describing the fireplace as an essential part of any drawing room. For fans, it has been a fun way to bring a little of the Ton into their homes during the holidays.
The fireplace has performed well for an ambient title. According to What’s on Netflix’s tracking, it has racked up 2.1 million views and 2.1 million hours viewed since the second half of 2024, tying for 8th place among the 18 fireplace titles the site tracked.

It had an especially strong first half of 2026, drawing 700,000 views. That was the 3rd-highest total for that period and more than double what ‘The Witcher: Fireplace’ managed, a boost the outlet linked to the release of Season 4.
The most-watched title in the category remains the generic ‘Fireplace for Your Home: Crackling Birchwood Fireplace’, which has more than 30 million views. Netflix hasn’t explained why the fireplace is leaving. The timing has surprised fans, since it’s being removed right as the holiday season begins.
Entertainment Now suggested Netflix could be preparing a new fireplace with Easter eggs from Seasons 3 and 4, though that hasn’t been confirmed. Other franchise fireplaces, including those for ‘KPop Demon Hunters’, ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Wednesday’, were added last December and confirmed as permanent.
Although it would seem even Mr. Bridgerton cannot resist the temptation of today’s games, it is time to direct your attention to more…civilized matters. The trailer for Part 1 of Bridgerton Season 4 is here. https://t.co/vExZ2UmBTF

Fans worried about losing their favorite period drama can breathe easy. Netflix owns ‘Bridgerton’ and ‘Queen Charlotte’, so both are expected to stay on the service. The future looks bright for the franchise, too. ‘Bridgerton’ Season 5 has wrapped filming ahead of an expected 2027 release, though it doesn’t have an official date yet, and Thompson has said production isn’t fully finished.
Netflix has also renewed the show for a 6th season. Fans are already wondering whether Seasons 7 and 8 will adapt the stories of the final 2 Bridgerton siblings from Julia Quinn’s books.

For anyone who loves the fireplace, there’s still time to enjoy it before it goes. It’s the perfect way to spend a cozy November evening with a cup of tea and the Bridgerton living room in the background. After that, fans will have to rely on rewatching the series itself until Season 5 arrives.
