Addison Rae turned heads at the 2026 Grammy Awards, proving she’s more than just a social media star. The 25-year-old singer made a bold entrance on the red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, wearing a custom white Alaïa gown that left little to the imagination. The dress featured a plunging neckline that went far below her waist, decorated with intricate body gems and a belly ring, making it one of the most talked-about looks of the night.

Rae finished her outfit with loose blonde waves and matching white heels. She stopped to pose and interact with photographers, clearly enjoying the attention. The night was especially meaningful because it marked her first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

In an interview with Variety, Rae said the recognition felt surreal. “It’s such an honor to be recognized, not just as a new artist, but as an artist at all—by the Recording Academy,” she shared. She added that moving from social media fame to being taken seriously as a musician wasn’t easy. “Anyone who has ever dreamed of doing what they love but feared they wouldn’t be taken seriously knows how much this kind of moment means. I’ve definitely battled with that doubt before, wondering if this could ever be possible.”

Although the award went to British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean, Rae still made a big impact. She performed her hit single on stage with energetic choreography, showing the polish and showmanship that have become her signature. Rae’s debut album, Addison, produced by ELVIRA and Luka Kloser, has been a major success, hitting the top ten in several countries and establishing her as a rising force in pop music.

Addison Rae isn’t stopping at music. She is also set to star in the upcoming live-action/animation hybrid film Animal Friends. The movie, directed by Peter Atencio, features an all-star cast including Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Aubrey Plaza, and Dan Levy. It is scheduled for release in June and follows Rae’s previous acting work in Thanksgiving and He’s All That.
